Jason walked to up stand in front of me.
“I’m here looking around for our siblings while you are out with some guy?” Jason said angrily.
I ignored him.
It would be very unlikely for Jaiden to be there. I mean we haven’t been there since the first time our father beat her which was when she was 3. He started beating me when I was one, and my mom took me there, so I took Jaiden there.
What would be the chances for her to remember that place?
“Alex! Answer me!” Jason yelled in my face.
We might as well check there first. I was about to walk away and head that way not caring if Jason followed me or not, but then I remembered something.
“Shit! He took my motorcycle!” I screamed pointing towards the way Derek’s car had left.
“Smart one!” Jason yelled at me irritated.
I put my hand down. “It’s not like it would’ve worked if I did have it.” I sighed frustrated.
“Great, what are we going to do now?” Jason kept irritating me.
“Will you shut up?!” I yelled back at him.
He scowled at me.
“Can’t you call your boyfriend?” He asked mockingly.
I clenched my jaw. “We broke up.”
“Well what about that guy that just dropped you off?” He asked.
“Don’t have his number.” I answered not really focusing on what he was saying as I was trying to think. “I can’t call Titi because he’s working.” I said more to myself.
Jason cleared his throat. “Maybe I can call my sister. She’s nineteen.” Jason suggested.
I turned to look at him now. He had only mentioned he had an older sister but besides that he didn’t talk about her. I was a bit surprised. Either way we really needed to find Jaiden and Andy so I merely nodded. He pulled out his phone and dialed.
“Aliana?... Hey, can you pick me at Andy’s school?... We have a situation… Just pick me up!” He exclaimed and waited for her to respond before hanging up.
I was just standing there with my arms crossed. He came to stand beside me.
“She’s on her way. She’ll be here really quick since she was close to here anyway.” He informed me and I just nodded.
We stayed in silence. It wasn’t comfortable, it wasn’t awkward; it was just simple silence since we had nothing more to say to one another.
A few minutes later a car pulled up in front of us. The car’s window rolled down and a girl who looked vaguely familiar, but couldn’t pin-point where I had seen her, poked her head out the window.
“Are you getting in or not?” She screamed at Jason.
“Let’s go.” Jason mumbled to me, grabbing my arm dragging me to the car.
He let go of my arm as soon as we were in front of the car. He opened the passenger seat while I opened the back. I sat down in the back closing the door after me, Jason doing the same.
“Aliana, this is my friend Alex. Alex, this is my sister Aliana.” Jason introduced sounding bored.
I rolled my eyes at him and Aliana slapped him in the back of the head making Jason wince and scowl at his sister.
“Nice to meet Alex.” She said with a smile looking at me through the rearview mirror as she started driving.
“Nice to meet you to Aliana.” I smiled back.
