The sight before me was all red. Blood fell from his mouth, his eyes droopy, and his body bruised. Five men stood hovered above him as the kick the shit out of him.

But what made me regret kicking the door open, wasn’t that necessarily, but it was that now five men stared at me. Lust and anger soared through their haunting eyes.

“Is this your bitch?” One of the men asked my father who laid on the ground practically unconscious.

The bastard looked at me and gave me a lazy, bloody smirk. He nodded at them not taking his eyes off me.

My eyes widened when the men’s eyes looked back at me, hunger became clear in their eyes.

“Then I want her.” The man who spoke to my father stated smirking widely at me. “Bring her.” He told the rest of the men.

They took slow, deliberate steps towards me, but I didn’t waste any time. I ran out of there as fast as I could. I heard their heavy steps echoing from behind me. My hair whipped around my face and back from the wind.

My breath turned ragged, but I kept running. I didn’t dare turn my head to look back because that will slow me down. I’m not stupid enough to do that even if I do want to see how far behind me they are.

I turned a sharp corner and ran down it. I still heard footsteps behind me, but they seemed fainter than before. I ran until I reach the end of the alley were a couple were making out. A door was ajar beside them and a dumpster across them.

They were so busy playing tonsil hockey that they didn’t even notice me. I turn when I heard their footsteps getting closer. I didn’t panic. I had two choices and I knew exactly which to take.

“Where’d she go?” One of them whispered not wanting to disrupt the couple and cause suspicion.

“She went through this alley I swear.” Man #2 answered.

“Damn it! We lost her.” Man #3 whisper-yelled frustrated.

“Ok, here’s what we’ll do. Us two will leave and look further down while you two go inside and look around.” Man #4 instructed and they agreed.

Once they left and looked around cautiously. Once I saw the coast was clear, I ran out of there quickly. I didn’t stop running until I got to my house. I crept through my backyard towards the shed where my motorcycle was. But when I passed a window which was cracked open slightly, I froze.

“It’s just a great coincidence that I am doing business with the one person looking for your daughter. She got into some serious trouble with him and you got into some deep shit with me. Sebastian will be so happy.” The man said with a malicious grin.

I took a deep breath and kept moving to the shed. I opened the shed silently and set the key in the motorcycle. I hopped on and tried turning it on, but it wouldn’t.

“Shit!” I whispered harshly when I heard the front door opening.

“Who’s out there?” The man that had stayed with my father asked.

I kept trying to start it and finally it did. Right as I was about to speed out of there the man was in my way.

“You are a smart girl. Sebastian had warned me about you. How did you manage to escape my men?” He asked with clear amusement in his tone and eyes.

“Nobody stands between me and my finish line.” I stated and he looked at me confused before I sped forward almost running him over if he hadn’t jumped out of the way.

Right now I had no time to worry about those men or even worse Sebastian. Right now all that preoccupied my mind is Jaiden and Andy.

Luckily they weren’t at my house, so my father didn’t touch them, but what now?

I was almost at the school, but my motorcycle decided to breakdown next to an alcohol store.

Just f*cking great!

I kicked the kickstand down and hopped of the motorcycle. I glared at my motorcycle for a second before kicking the tire of my motorcycle softly.

“Damn it! You had to breakdown now, didn’t you?” I mumbled angrily at my motorcycle.

“Are you talking to yourself?” A male voice asked from behind me.

I whipped my head around to get a clear of view of the somewhat familiar voice.

Seriously, I keep regretting everything I do today.

I turned back around and started inspecting my motorcycle. It usually never breaks down. So what the hell?

“You look familiar beautiful. Have I seen you before?” He asked somewhat huskily.

“Well if I look familiar, you must have.” I replied sarcastically still checking over my motorcycle not interested in talking to him.

“Reed.” He simply said and my body tensed.

I ignored him. Even if he knew when you lie there is one rule: DON’T RETRACT ON YOUR LIE! Even if you get caught, you still lie through your teeth.

“Yeah, that’s it. You’re Reed’s girlfriend aren’t you?” He finally asked after a few moments of silence, sounding smug.

See what I mean? If I would’ve opened my mouth or acted suspicious I would’ve outed myself.

“Yeah.” I answered simply.

Damn it I can’t really fix my motorcycle unless I have my tools and I have to find Jaiden.

“So…” He kept trying to start conversation with me.

“Look, I’m busy right now. I don’t have time to talk.” I said walking away from him and my motorcycle.

It pains to walk away from my motorcycle because I know it will be gone by the time I returned, but I had to find Jaiden. She’s more important.

“You’re leaving your motorcycle here?” He asked incredulously.

“I have something really urgent to do.” I answered monotonously.

“I can give you a ride?” He said.

I didn’t answer just kept walking.

“I can put your motorcycle in the back of my truck so you wouldn’t have to leave it behind.” He persuaded.

I stopped and turned back around. I walked to him quickly. The faster we leave the faster I can get to Jason and the faster we will find Jaiden and Andy.

“Let’s go fast.” I told him as I walked to the truck’s door which he held open.

He chuckled and picked up my motorcycle setting securely in the back. He went around and sat in the driver’s seat. I told him where to go and he glanced at me as he drove.

“An elementary school?” He asked puzzled.

“Yup.” I answered in an uncaring tone.

On the inside though I was still freaking out about finding Jaiden and Andy. I only care about their safety. I just want to hug my sister close to me and tell her that I love her and that I will always be there for her.

Before I knew it we were at the school. He parked in front of it. I got out of the car without another word. I was about to slam the door when he stopped me.

“Wait! Tell Reed I want to talk to him… Oh and that I will see him next race.” He smirked and I slammed the door close.

He sped away and I turned around looking at a pissed off Jason.

I stood there thinking.

What did Derek have to talk to me about?

And

I think I know where Jaiden and Andy might be.
