I was crying silently, but the tears flowed so much that it was getting hard for me to breathe. It seemed as though the oxygen wasn't reaching my lungs no matter how hard I tried.
I faintly heard the door being unlocked but I was too focused on trying to breathe. I laid there on the floor on back staring at the ceiling with tears streaming down my face and my chest heaving up and down rapidly as I tried to get some oxygen.
"Ma! Don't fucking tell me to calm down! Alex is missing! I need to find her!" I heard Titi scream as he walked through the front door.
"Ouch! What the hell Ma?! Why'd you hit me?!" He yelled.
"Don't cuss at me young man! I am still your mother!" She reprimanded him.
"Ma! I'm a grown ass man! I do what I want. Ma I'm not a -" Titi rambled on, but was cut off by his mom.
"Shh!" She shushed him.
"Ma, don't shush me!" Titi complained.
"Will you shut up? Do you hear that?" Lisa said.
They were silent for a moment before Titi broke it.
"Ma you are crazy I don't hear shit." Titi said.
"Shut up!" She said before she smacked him upside the head.
"Ma!" Titi complained.
I heard them walking my way with Titi grumbling under his breath when I heard Lisa gasp.
"A!" Titi screamed and ran towards me.
Lisa and him kneeled down beside me and Titi lifted my head up. I was now gasping for breath and shaking slightly.
"Alex sweetheart you need to calm down and breathe. Just relax. If you don't calm down you won't be able to breathe. Just breathe with me." Lisa said calmly in order for me to calm down.
"Ma, we don't have time for stupidities! She knows how to breathe she's done it her whole life!" Titi said frustrated, but with a hint of fear.
Lisa gave him a death glare and pushed him away and gently set my head on her lap. She ran her hands soothingly through my hair and softly started singing to me. She sang so softly it was almost a whisper.
The words to "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls were the only thing heard in the house besides my irratic breathing.
I slowly started closing my eyes and started relaxing to Lisa's soft voice and her hands running softly through my hair. My breathing started to steady slowly and I was starting to be able to breathe more. Next thing I know everything has gone black.

"A... Why do you keep doing this to me? Why can't you understand that I need you in my life. I don't know what I'd do without you... I love you." I heard Titi whisper in my hair before I felt something wet land on my hair.
I had my eyes closed, but I had just woken up when Titi whispered that into my hair. His arms tightened slightly around my body and silent tears landed on my hair as he buried his face in my hair.
I tried to turn around a little but my wrist erupted in pain and my body felt stiff. I hissed causing Titi to lift his head and help me turn to my back.
"A, be careful! You sprained your wrist. We thought it was broken, but luckily it was just sprained. Mom bandaged it up for you." Titi explained as he looked me up and down to make sure I was okay.
"I'm fine, T." I said in a groggy voice.
"Are you sure?" Titi said with worry in his eyes and tone.
