I parked right outside Titi's house and got out of the car as well as Jaiden. We walked hand in hand to the front door and knock. I knocked three times and Titi's mom opened the door.

"Alexandra! I'm so glad to see you again! Come in, come in." She said gesturing me and Jaiden to enter the house.

We walked in and I let go of Jaiden's hand to embrace Titi's mom in a hug.

"Hi Lisa. I'm glad to see you again too." I pulled away from the hug to give her a warm smile.
She pulled me to stand my her side and draped an arm around my shoulders. I had to bend down a bit because she is shorter than me.

"And who might this little cutie be?" Lisa, Titi's mom, asked giving Jaiden a warm, motherly smile.

I smiled at the sight of Jaiden shifting from foot-to-foot looking down at the ground shyly.

"This is my little sister, Jaiden. Jaiden, this is Titi's mom, Lisa." I said as I pulled Jaiden closer to Lisa while to moving from under Lisa's arm.

When Jaiden looked up at Lisa's warm chocolate eyes, her own honey colored eyes brightened a little.

"Oh, you are just so cute just like your sister!" Lisa squealed as she slipped her around away from my shoulders and around Jaiden giving her a tight hug. Jaiden gave her a hug back and closed her and smiled a big smile.

Lisa pulled away from Jaiden.

"Tiennan! Get your butt over here young man!" Lisa screamed.

"Ma! I'm a man!" Titi screamed back.

Yeah, Titi's actual name is Tiennan Tielyr. Since both start with Ti everyone calls him Titi, except his mom.

Jaiden, Lisa, and I chuckled lightly at what Titi said and how he said it. It sounded like a little kid when he screams at his mommy 'I'm a man!'. It's pretty funny.

"What?!" He yelled as soon as he was in front of his mom. Then he saw Jaiden and I standing there.

"Do NOT use that tone with me young man!" Lisa scolded.

Titi scowled. "Ma! I'm a full grown man! I don't need my mom yelling at me!"

Lisa rolled her and gave me kiss on the cheeck as well as to Jaiden and Titi.

"Well I'm going to bake some brownies before I'm off to work. I have the night shift tonight." She said the last part to me, since Titi already knows and Jaiden is nine.

"I'm sorry Lisa. I know how hard you work." I gave her a small sympathetic smile.

She smiled back. "It's alright sweetheart. I just wish I could see you more often. You know you are like a daughter to me."

"I know, thank you Lisa. You are also like a mother to me." I hugged her and she went off to the kitchen.

"So what's up my man?" Titi said fist bumping with me, then Jaiden.

"Nothing. I was just bored and wanted to see my egoistic best friend and Jaiden wanted to come." I said trying to hide my smile and giving a nonchalant shrug.

"Yeah right. Me? Egoistic? Psh! Yeah right! You know what your problem is?" He asked me.

"What?"

"I'm just too beautiful... and awesome! You can't forget awesome!" He said gesturing to himself.

Jaiden and I shared a look before we both busted out laughing.
