Our lips were a hairsbreadth away. I could feel his body heat the warmth of his hands as they encircled my waist. Our breathing had deepened a bit and our chests rubbed lightly against each other with every breath.

"Jason?" A voice called out from a bit in the distant.

We quickly took a step back, but he still kept his arms around me. My hands unconsciously went up to his firm chest and we both turned our heads towards the source of the voice.

A guy just a few years older than Jason and I stood a bit away from us, but he was coming closer. He was wearing a baggy hoodie with the hood over his head covering his eyes, along with baggy jeans, dirty ripped converse, and a smirk planted on his face darkened by the hood.

"Austin." Jason said lowly with a hint of warning.

Austin reached us and I took my hands away off Jason's chest. He glared at Austin, but didn't let go off me, instead he tightened his grip on my waist.

"Jason, Jason, Jason." Austin said teasingly. "What do we have here?" He asked smirking in my direction.

I couldn't see his eyes, but I was somewhat glad I couldn't. I pushed away from Jason more and pried his hands off my waist. They fell to his sides clenching.

"What do you want Austin?" Jason asked menacingly.

"Aren't you going to introduce us?" Austin asked faking hurt.

"No!" Jason grunted, but I'm not one to let others speak for me.

"I'm Alex." I introduce myself nodding at him.

Jason snapped his head in my direction only to glare. I ignored him and focused on the other guy standing before me. His smirk grew considerably and he lifted his head up to be able to see better.

I could finally see his eyes. They were such a dark brown that they looked almost black, but that's not what shocked me. What shocked me is how lifeless his eyes are. They look dead as if they had no life in them. My mom's eyes look like that when they don't reflect the pain she's feeling.

"Nice to meet you... Alex." He said before smirking once again.

"Austin, what do you want?" Jason asked slowly and irritated.

Austin turns his head slowly towards Jason. His smirk never leaving what seemed to be its permanent spot.

"I came to collect, dear Jason. My old man wants it all by tonight." Austin replied.

Jason's jaw clenched and his hands fisted so tightly that his knuckles turned white.

"I'll get him his money later. We had made an agreement though. I still have a week to come up with all the money." Jason said clearly pissed.

Austin shrugged digging his hands into the pockets of his baggy jacket. "Hey, I'm just the messenger."
