Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!

A piercing scream woke me up abruptly. I shot out of bed and dashed outside to the living room.

Why do I always have to wake up from someone's agonizing scream?

I stopped at the archway and gripped the wall tightly. My hair fell on face from the sudden stop after running to get here fast. I shut my eyes. There was my sister, my nine year old sister, on the floor with blood coming out of her mouth. He was standing over her grinning like some psycho maniac. He brought his beer to his horrendous, dry lips and hit her face again... with his favorite beating belt.
I need to put a stop to this before he puts her in the hospital. My eyes flashed open and I was about to run over to him and push him off when he finally pulled his last punishment on her... for the morning that is. He smashed his empty beer bottle on her back.

The glass shattered everywhere. Her blood was oozing out from her back. She screamed out in horrible pain as her eyes were slowly drooping close. She was about to pass out. I need to get her to the hospital. I ran up to him as he laughed his ass off. I punched him in the eye which stumbled him back, since he's drunk, and his head hit the wall knocking him out, but not drawing blood. Lucky son of a bitch.

I would have tried to beat him, but that was before I heard a faint murmur.

"Alex..." Jaiden whispered so low I barely heard her. I picked her up and ran to my car.

By now my tears were free falling. I couldn't help it the tears. I was supposed to protect her. This is all my fault. If I would've woken up just a bit earlier, or not slept at all, I could've prevented this from happening to her. I rather he done it to me than her. She's just a kid! I'm older and I'm more used to it then she is.

I laid her down on the back seat face down so I wouldn't hurt her back. I ran to the driver's door and hurriedly got in and turned the engine on. I sped out of there and went way above the speed limit to be able to get to the hospital fast!

I went into total street race mode. My tears stopped, my face went hard with concentration. My finish line? the hospital, the other racers I need to beat? the cops who are currently chasing me with their sirens bright, clear, and loud. I smoothly passed other cars, making sure I didn't collide with any. I've been street racing for long enough to be able to do this without a problem. I swerved and drifted all through the busy streets with the cops still chasing after me.

You know those shows or movies where there is a dude or chick is in a high speed chase in the middle of the city streets? Well it's just like that except we aren't in a city more like poor streets.
I made a ninety degree angle turn at the last minute and the rear of the car swerved onto the sidewalk, scaring the shit out of some pedestrians, before the car straightened. I finally saw the front of the hospital. I stopped, not parked, but stopped the car right in front of the front hospital, making the car screech loudly. I hopped off immediately and open the back door to get Jaiden out. I carried her carefully not to harm her even more out of the car and into the hospital.

Patients who were waiting around sitting in the waiting area stopped whatever they were doing to stare at the teenage girl carrying a little girl filled with blood. Do we really look that suspicious or bad?

There was a man at the front desk who had a bone sticking out of his shoulder. No like legit sticking out! You can see the actual bone, flesh, muscle, and blood. He was asking for assistance because he was in terrible pain. When the nurse finally saw me carrying Jaiden. She gasped.

"Oh my god!" She yelled standing up and putting a hand over her mouth.

The guy with the bone sticking out turned around and saw us and he yelled.
