LAST VERY SECONDS
Jame's POV:
JAN 2
9:20 a.m
My expression was still as I holded the phone in my hand sitting onto the loo. I pinched myself if any dream fools me as reality. But, fortunately it was not. I have no clue about what is going around me in the last very seconds.
Ask if she's here, dumbass. My sensitive part of the brain suggested one right thing.
Me : Are you here?
My hands tremble if her response turns to the way I want, no wonder if I even get a heart attack and the miracle knocks in my life one last time.
Emma ❤ : Yeah, sooner rather than later.
Oh shit, seriously? I was soaking in the pool of thoughts since I got her message. But one thing clearly portrayed is that I don't know why we pretend to be normal in text and calls as if we don't miss each other. I'm dying for her all through my veins.
How on this earth could it be possible for her presence over here. What possessed her to? Where is she living? Or is this a dream? However I assure myself, I still have the dilemma of whether this is a dream or reality.
9:30 a.m
As I unintentionally rolled my eyes while grinning like a stupid after flushing off the loo. My grandfather clock hit me hard enough to be aware it's just half of the hour left to reach ten. I fished out the outfit instantly without even getting a second thought of any laziness.
I grabbed my black blazers from the closet. James, you haven't showered.
'Oh shit,' I rushed to my bathroom and got a quick shower while applying a ton of body wash. Because I really need to smell good, right? Back to my closet and shoved the black blazer which already left it on my bed and abruptly wore it with a pair of olive skinny jeans and combed my hair with fingers as I made myself cozy by getting into the leather jacket and stuffed my mouth with some breakfast and swiftly made my door keys work against the doorhole.
My feet made their ways in reaching out the car lane and I got the idea of presenting her something for our meeting, obviously by the knowledge of English romantic movies. So I decided to buy a rose. Oh James, how would you start the car without the key?
Again 'shit,' I exclaimed. I literally ran back to my floor and knocked at the Lodges home.
'Oh kid, my husband has taken the car for his office,' why the hell does God complicated things now? I have got no time to reach now, I was in utter disappointment until Mrs. Lodge suggested.
'Why don't you take his bike?'
'With pleasure, Mrs. Lodge,' I clutched the keys as she handed me and descended to the deserted staircase skipping each one and finally switched the ignition on and the tires made their action of riding on the cement road.
Whoo! After everything settles between us, she's gonna sit back here and wrap her hands around my waist firmly as her chocolatey mass of amber hair flies in the air.
I was too excited and unaware of my anticipation more than the reality.
10:00 a.m
I finally managed myself in parking the bike in the lane and made my ways to the destinated direction. The sun was brighter than it always will, giving its glimmering rays towards each human around to start their day with all hopes and so did I.
