"Girl you are going, even if it means me dragging you," Tessa stated and dragged me up from the couch.

"Wetin na? I hold your destiny?" I ask and tilt my head to the side wondering why this girl won't let me be.

The door opens and a tired Nancy walks in nagging, with bags in her hands. She just went shopping. She greets in her usual way of saying 'hey babes ' and drops the bag on the kitchen counter. Then she comes back into the living room and settles on the couch oposite me and Tessa.

The look on her face only says one
thing, gisting time; So I sink into the sofa where I was before Tessa's wahala. Tessa goes to sit next to her.

"Guys I can't believe this is our last Friday on campus," Nancy begins, excitement plastered on her face.

"Me too," Tessa agrees.

"Me sef," I added.

"Wow it's just like yesterday ," Tessa says and shakes her head shirking. You could tell that 'she was feeling herself'. Who wouldn't? Abeg, e no easy joor.

"Five years have passed, " Nancy's eyes glistened with excitement as she spoke, she looked like she was remembering something.

"Time sure flies," I concurred.

"Ah God," Nancy groaned grinning as she bit on her lower lip.

"What's funny?" I and Tessa asked in unison.

"The memories. Like remember when Mr Adeyemi asked Tessa to frog jump because she came late to his psychology class," she said.

She didn't even finished and I burst out laughing, picturting the whole incident that was still fresh in my head. It was epic.

Tessa hissed, " God punish that wicked man. He still gave me a C after everything, " She was really vexed.

"Eiya, the thing still de vex you. No vex oo. That was your years ago," I was still trying to catch my breath.

"I was mortified, that was the biggest embarrassment of my life," she said raising her hands up for emphasis.

"What of when Nancy burst into tears in front of the whole class, after Mr Okoye threatened to fail her cos she missed his class twelve times in a row." I was picturing the incidence in my head, so fresh.

"God I thought I was going to have a carryover. I mean I had to beg ooo. I just couldn't afford it," she elaborated folding her arms. Her facial expression was priceless, it was as if she was in front of Mr Okoye again.

I was still laughing and tearing up when Tessa called my attention by her display of madness. At some point,  I thought it was her village people. She was laughing so hard, banging the pillows and hitting her legs on the sofa at the same time.

"Guys, guys, guys," she called out , " Do you remember when Lilly acted like she was 'mami wata' so Mr Richard could pass her when he demanded for sex."

Immediately she completed her statement, I was laughing like I was possessed by a demon, tears gushing out of my eye and I wiped them off my face. Tessa was laughing so hard that she fell off from the sofa and started rolling on the rug. Nancy clutched her tommy as if her intestines were about to fall out from excessive laughter.

"Abeg e don do, make una no use laff kill me,"  she warned and sat up.

I wiped thed tears that were still falling on my face despite my efforts to stop them.

"But you know that was a really good prank, really good, " Nancy chipped in, already sober and Tessa burst our laughing.

Now in terms of madness ,Tessa was madder than me. Hadn't the laughing gas expired? If you walked in on us seconds ago, yould think we were under a spell, laughing gas influence, or our village people were attacking us.

"You really think we should try it again," Tessa reasoned and I chuckled. Her eyes were already watery like mine, oh! she even had catarhh.

"But honestly, school life is fun, " Nancy states.

I couldn't agree more,"As in ,those good old days, when we were freshers," I add.

"Back in those days," Tessa chipped in.

"We have short time left, so we have to make it worthwhile," Nancy said.

Her tone saud it all, our one and only option was partying. That was one thing she and Tessa always agreed on.

"And we've got to pop champagne, because it might be our last," Tessa added, snapping her fingers.

"Yh, and that's why I got those," Nancy said and pointed to the bags on the counter. Our kitchen was an open one. Actually my house had the American setting.

"So where is that wine?" I ask no one in particular as I walk into the kitchen.

"Here it is," Nancy answered dropping it on the table in front of me.

"Hope it's non alcoholic sha?" I ask and started unwrapping the wine.

"Yup," Tessa answered and rolled her eyes as she rested her back against the sink. Nancy sat at the other end of the kitchen in a stool, with her legs crossed.

" With the way you're going eh, it's like you won't drink alcohol all your life," She teased.

I just pretended not to hear her, "I am popping it ," I announced and pulled the cork.

Kpoof! Was the sound that filled the room and the girls gathered around me with thier Tumblr  in thier hands, so I poured the wine into each of our glases. Opening of wine was not hard for me ,at all, we popped champagne at home all the time.

"Cheers," Nancy proposed a toast raising her glass, "to completion of our university education."

"Cheers to the good old days when we were freshers," Tessa toasted and the normal tradition followed.

All eyes were on me, " Cheers to a successful future ahead us ," I said calmly and we all cheered sipping our drinks.

"Tessa plat some music," I kinda ordered.

"Yes boss," she saluted and got to it.

********
After dancing to Phyno's song 'fada fada ' and many other songs by Zlatan, Oma Lay, Fire boy, Teni and Davido I was getting tired and guess what - Tessa paused the music.

"We're taking this party out, " She relayed, keeping her hands on her waist.

"Exactly, " Nancy agreed, " Why didn't we think of that from the start? Like am so stupid, " Nancy cursed.

"Bye guys," I said and jumped from the kitchen island where I was sitting.
On my way out ,I grabbed the remaining bottle of wine that was left untouched because we were busy dancing.

"Guys bawo?" Tessa asked and blocked my way ,creasing her brows.

"We're all going, and thats final," Nancy ordered, snapping her fingers.

"Help me tell her oo,"Tessa demanded and I rolled my eyes at this drama queen before me.

"Remind me how you ended up in science class," I deadpanned staringat Tessa.

"I don't even know sef, she shrugged and dragged me out of the kitchen. Nancy followed behind us.

"Go change," I heard Nancy voice from behind me and I realised that I was in front of my room.

Tessa pushed the door handle and Nancy pushed me into my room, before I could even argue.

I rolled my eyes when I realised that I was rummaging through my wardrobe for the perfect dress tonight. The same party I thought I wouldn't be attending. How Ironic!

Tessa being an Edo girl knew how to lure people into doing things that they couldn't imagine themselves doing. Like how she did to me.

Nancy being an Igbo girl couldn't ever take 'No' for an answer, especially when she talks in that as a matter of fact way.

"These bitches got me this time, " I admitted and rolled my eyes once again.
