My my, look how the tables have turned.

I and Lemuel were watching a movie a movie that I picked. The name is 'Namaste wahala.'

We had popcorn and coke by our side as we watched. The lights were off, the curtains were pulled down and the only filling the air was the sound from the tv.

From time to time, Lemuel would steal glances at me and when I caught him, he would just shrug and say. "You can't blame me."

The movie ended and I was getting emotional.

"So they ended up together, after everything." I didn't direct that statement anybody in particular.

"Yup," he popped the p. "What will be, will be. "

"Do you believe in fate?" I whispered in a small voice and looked at Lemuel who was by my left.

"Yes, but we make our own fate sometimes. "

"True," I agreed.

And there was silence for a short while.

Then my stomach churned with a rumble. The last time I ate was seven forty five in the morning.

"I'm hungry. " I blurted out and Lemuel turned to me.

"I was thinking the same thing you know." He got on his feet and placed his hands on his waist.

"Let's go get something to eat."

I followed Lemuel out of the sitting room to the other side which was opposite his living room. That part had the dining and kitchen.

When I entered into the kitchen I was awed. I mean our house had three sections in the kitchen but it was nothing like this.

"Why do you live in such a big house, alone?"

I was curious, this house was dead big.

Outside looked like a modern house but inside was just shouting 'Italian'.

"I like it, the space and the privacy."

I just blinked countless times at Lemuel and before I came to my senses, something soft touched my cheek.

His lips.

I think I'm going to run mad.

I blushed. "Are you gonna keep stealing kisses. "

"If i have to." He shrugged and leaned against the door with folded arms.

So sexy a pose.

I chuckled and walked to the fridge. I needed something to drink.

It was empty.

"Lemuel there's nothing to drink here," I complained and he came over.

"Oh shit! I was telling Charlie that I was going to buy. I forgot." He pleaded, hovering over me.

"You're really a workaholic. Let's go shopping. " I suggested and snapped my fingers.

"Alright, I'll go grab my keys. "

I found myself looking around and touching some things in the kitchen when he went out.

I liked the colour combination, everything in it was painted white but the curtains were a striking colour of orange and green that gave the kitchen a warm touch. Only the furnitures were black.

I opened up the cupboards that were black in colour and there was absolutely nothing.

With a loud scoff, I shut it.

Same thing for the top cupboard, it was empty.

I stepped out of the kitchen in disbelief.

I was disappointed in Mr eligible bachelor.

"Lemuel there's nothing in your kitchen. What exactly do you feed on" I scolded, once I saw him descend the staircase.

"Sorry about that. I eat out most of the time, or I simply skip meals. "

"That's bad. You shouldn't skip meals or don't you know there is ulcer?" I scold with a frown.

"Okay, I'll try to eat all the time. And you sound just like my mom. "

I smiled. "Now that's the smile I was looking for." He remarked and got the door for me.

"I think we should walk," I said, as soon as he locked the door.

"We think the same way," he leaned in closer to me and gave me a sexy smirk.

"You wish," I gave a smug smile and moved my face away from his.

We continued our walk.

"So why are you at home today? Everyone knows you are a workaholic. " I said, with airquote to the last word.

He grinned and that made me roll my eyes.

"I have to be at my mom and dad's anniversary thirty first anniversary today. So I thought I should work from home."

"Wow, congratulations to them."

"Yeah, would you like to come with me?"

"Sure," I grinned from ear to ear. "I'd love to meet your parents." I turned to look at him.

He returned the gesture with a fine boy smile.

Our hands itched to touch each others so his fingers hovered over mine for some seconds and then his hand enveloped mine.

It was so warm and big.

I had goose bumps so I couldn't even find my words.

"I think it feels better this way. " He tightened his grip on my hand and swinged our both hands.

I answered with a tilt of my head and we entered into the mall.

It was much better this way and I released my self to his hold.

"What do you think I should wear?"

I was so on about this anniversary and I wanted to dress up for Lemuel.

We were on our way back from shopping and I had some bags in my hands. That meant we couldn't hold hands anymore.

"I think I should order a dress for you. Infact I'll contact my sister's stylist for you."

"Awwn," I gushed. "I feel like a princess."

"You are my princess." He said in a serouis tone as he looked at my face.

"Thank you, "

"Why the formality princess. We have past this. It's the princes' duty to care for his princess. "

My heart fluttered even the more.

Every one had called me princess but it was different when Lemuel called me that.

I couldn't wait.

For my dress.

To be adorned like a princess.

And to meet his parents.

I hope they would like me.
