"Why can't he just decide to hurt and hate me continuously?"

I was frowning early in the morning because my alarm didn't ring, only to find out that my phone was turned off. How could I forget that I turned it off after I left the columbarium?

"Good... Morning?"

"Morning," I greeted back. "Pinapatawag mo raw ako?"

"Yes." He nodded. "Have you received the files I sent you?"

"No." Agad siyang umiling. He nodded.

Geof even sounded disappointed and I don't want him to blame Timothy because I'm aware that it's my fault. All this time, he was actually waiting for me there last night. Yung pride ko talaga minsan, sobrang failing ng pag-work.

"Timo – I mean Mr. San Jose," I immediately addressed Timothy the way he should be at work. "Didn't actually know my whereabouts. Wala kasi ako sa condo ko kahapon."

Geof nodded again. "You should tell me your address next time, so I'll bring it on my own," he advised.

"You do know that I don't share my address with anyone," I informed him.

"But we've been workmates for years. Long enough to be friends," he prodded. "Aren't we friends?"

"We're friends Geof," I assured him, giving him a meaningful look. "But not enough to tell you my address."

I mean, it's not that I don't trust my workmates, especially Geof, who's someone fond of my cousin, who's my first friend here in HBC, and who guided me about the ins and outs here in this company. It's just, I want to keep my life as private as possible, I don't like people being boastful that they know a lot about me like I'm part of their collection of 'friends'.

As per sharing my address? I'm not a big fan of people whom I just met visits me in my place unless I told them to. I'd rather we meet up somewhere else, but not in my safe place.

"Sure," he snickered.

"Is he –,"

"Mr. San Jose," Geof greeted.

"Good morning Architect Cua, I'm actually here for Engineer Segvillon," Timothy politely said.

"Okay!
