"It's not bad to ask for help even if you know that you can do things all by yourself."

Nothing new happened after the graduation party except me, moving on.

I've been trying to avoid Timothy or have minimal interaction with him as much as possible because it's obvious that I can't ignore him when we're just inside the same workplace. I stopped inviting him to lunch but he was still asking me if I want to have some coffee.

Of course, I kept on refusing or preferably excusing myself. Mabuti na lang, bago pa ako maubusan, tumigil na rin siya sa pagtatanong, yet even if he did stop, he found a new way to offer me coffee.

Because every time I arrived at my area, there's always a cup of coffee prepared on my desk. It's almost a month and I saved money to pay those coffees back to him. I know he'd refuse kapag ako ang nag-abot kaya kahit day-off ko, pumunta ako ng company para ipaabot kay Geof yung pera.

"What's this for?" Geof asked while holding the small brown envelope I handed him.

"For the coffees," I told him. He knew about the coffees, actually, not just him, but almost everyone in the company.

"Are you rejecting him?"

"We're just friends Geof. Why would I reject a person who's just a friend?"

"Baka para sa'yo lang kayo friends."

"I doubt that." I shook my head. "Alis na ako. Pakiabot na lang sa kanya, okay? Salamat Architect Cua," I said before I got inside my car.

"Ingat, Engineer Seg!" Aniya.

I drove back to my condo and when I got inside, the boxes I have to fill are all waiting for me at the common area. It's already mid-June and I finally decided to go back home, to my parents.

It was Luther.

"Yes?" Grabe, mami-miss ko 'to! Pero mas nami-miss ko na yung bahay.

"Tara inom."

"Umagang-umaga! Tsaka ang dami mong time, wala ka na bang planong mag-take ng BAR?"

I heard him laugh on the other line. "I'm kidding! I'm actually resting now from studying, gusto ko muna ng ibang gawain."

"Kulitin mo sila Geof."

"They're working."

"Ikaw ba wala?"

"I have...?

"Why?"

"I'm packing up. Lilipat na ulit ako."

And at that, he just ended the call. Anong trip nun?

I was catching my breath after drinking two glasses of water when I heard a knock on my door. I absentmindedly walked towards it and opened the door and my eyes immediately widened when I saw Luther carrying a paper bag from Mcdo.
