A plan

That evening me and Tom had decided exactly how we would execute our plan,Tom would help me get down to the chamber and I would wait,hiding until Tom arrived with Victoria who unknowingly would have the basilisk set on her.It would be while she was distracted as she is a pureblood,meaning she can't be killed by looking into the basilisks eyes as the basilisk was not meant to kill purebloods which was how Salazar liked it.I would then come out from hiding and would use the killing curse on Victoria.None would ever know that it was us as we weren't planning on leaving any traces.

Arriving at the chamber the basilisk was nowhere to be seen just as Tom had promised "It wont come until its called" he had said I just hoped that was true because I was in no state for running.Carefully I chose a hiding place at the far end of the cave to the right of the Salazar Slytherin statue now all I had to do was wait.

Toms pov

Eventually I managed to find Victoria who was just finishing off serving drinks,she flashed a dimpled smile at me and followed me out of the common room without a word.

"Where are we going?"She squealed with excitement and I had to restrain myself from using the killing curse on her at this very moment.But there was a plan and I had to stick to it.

"Its a surprise"I replied as cheerfully as I could muster.I think my eardrums broke when she squealed once more upon seeing the girls bathroom.Oh god she thought I meant sex.I gestured with my head for her to go first and as soon as I was through I closed and successfully locked the door behind me.There was no escaping for her now.Walking over to the sinks I turned the taps on,going through the usual routine that had almost become natural as I did so it often.Shortly afterwards the sink moved down to reveal the tunnel which you went down to get to the chamber.

Victoria stepped forward biting her lip and looking into the dark cassavas below.I cocked an eyebrow at her and scoffed.

"Your not afraid are you?"She looked back to me adoringly and smiled shaking her head.

"Of course not!"She exclaimed laughing off her embarrassment before jumping into the tunnel.I followed shortly after her.I refrained from laughing once seeing her face expression at the bottom.She had realized that this was bones,skeleton and snake bones.Oh boy this was fun.

"Lead the way Tom"Victoria smiled sweetly taking my hand which I desperately wanted to snatch away from her,however,if this plan was to work she could not suspect a thing.Reaching the door I hissed in parseltounge and I finally had an excuse to get Victoria to let go of my hand,having to turn the door handle (dunno what its called) several times before it swung open with a crack.Good,Clara would know we were here.

Clara's pov
I had been waiting for the two to come down into the chamber for what felt like an age.But just when I was about to leave and go find what Tom was up to the pair appeared and I smirked,Victoria looked completly clueless.With the door shutting behind her she was trapped.I readied my wand for the right moment as she stood in awe of the huge Salazar statue that loomed above her.

"Wow Tom.This is amazing!"She exclaimed open mouthed as she looked around the chamber.A hissing sound came from just inside the statue and Toms smirk grew wider as Victorias eyes widened.

"W-what was that?"Looking around ferioucously for any sign of what the noise was being made by she turned back to Tom.

"Did you make that noise?"

"No in fact I shall show you what made that noise"Tom replied looking smug shortly before releasing the basilisk from its layer.From Victorias expression I could tell that she was now on alert,as stupid as she may seem she wasn't that dumb.

"What are you doing?"She asked Tom who gave the signal for me to come out.Without any hesistation I stepped out from the shadows and Victoria spun around pointing her wand at me in fear.

"Come any closer and I will...hurt you!"I rolled my eyes noticing that from behind her the basilisk was ready to pounce and Tom was pointing his wand at her in case she tried anything.

"You know Victoria I don't think you would have done anything to ruin mine or Toms reputation,but you know too much,its too risky if you stay alive,I'm sorry..."I laughed and twiddled my wand between my fingers. "Just kidding I really couldn't care less if you bungee jumped off a bridge without any bungee ropes or if you had a tragic accident and just happened to be killed"

"What are you saying?"

"Well what does it look like.Look around you Victoria the clues are so obvious.You are here to die!"At that moment the basilisk had grown tired of waiting and lunged at Victoria who just managed to run out of the way.Tom would have stopped the basilisk from attacking but either way if Victoria ended up dead whether by one of us or the basilisk she would suffer the same fate.

The basilisk lunged at her and missed her by only a few seconds as she leaped away from its teeth and ran off towards the exit,only to find that it was locked and a little too late as well.After commanding the basilisk to wrap her up with its tail,Tom took my hand and led me over to where Victoria was practically getting crushed.

"I hate you!Both of you!"She managed to wheeze out and I scoffed.

"Yeah we realized!"I replied to which she glared at me.Before anyone realized what was happening Victoria had a dagger that she had only just managed to fish out and used it to stab the basilisk at which it hissed loudly in pain letting her go,by which time she had her wand and was pointing it at me.

"You wanted me dead,well guess what Clara Pevensie I have waited for this moment for years!Crucio"Victoria yelled and seconds later I was on the floor screaming in pain.What felt like forever under that damned curse it was released when Victoria was blasted through the air and hit one of the snake head statues,falling to the ground unconscious or dead.I began to feel something move in my lower abdomen and soon blood stained my robes.I let out a sob as Tom rushed over to me and kneeled on the floor beside me.He took my hand and kissed it trying hard to smile only to give me an obviously forced one.

"No!No!"I whimpered as tears escaped Toms eyes and dripped onto my hand.At first I thought I was shaking with shock when in reality it was Tom.Looking up at him in such a state with his guards down he looked vulnerable.

"Make it stop Tom!"I yelled shortly before feeling a little body come out.Letting out another sob I took hold of my child that had been taken from me so young and began to cry harder than before.Not being able to control myself Tom took control of the situation and took off my blood stained robe so that our lifeless child could be wrapped up in it.He almost seemed to be working on auto mode like he wasn't really there.Taking off his robe he wrapped it around me so that I didn't get cold and our eyes met.It was obvious that we were in this together,Always.
