"What is your decision?"Tom asked for the second time now,we were sat in the library and he was getting impatient by my lack of response.
"I want to stay"The very second that the words left my mouth Tom stopped his pacing and seemed to almost freeze on the spot.
"You will stay with me,you won't run,you won't hide?"Hope was written all over his face and I smiled,beneath all of the darkness and insanity he really was just a man who was scarred from a bad start in life,but I was going to try and change that,if I could.I didn't know whether or not Tom was too far gone.
"I will stay with you,I wont run and I most certainly won't hide"A dazzling smile broke out onto his lips as he rushed towards me and engulfed me in a hug.
"Thank you!"He whispered happily,I hadn't heard that much emotion in his voice for a while.After a few moments of peaceful silence the radio turned on and my favorite song came on.Tom pulled away and began to dance making me laugh as he spun me round.
"You did that on purpose didn't you"It wasn't a question it was a statement and his smile said it all.It went on for what I wish was forever,but the happiness had to end sometime.It always did.As the song came to an end Tom pressed his lips to mine,we were happy and I felt like I was on top of the moon.Unfortunately the moment had to come to an end as the doorbell rang making me and Tom break apart.
"I'll be right back"He whispered giving me a quick peck and walking off downstairs to the front door.The second the door was opened I knew who it was by the silence that followed.
"What?!"Toms voice boomed and I could just imagine Malfoy cowering under his glare.
"Its the rebels,they are declaring we are at war with them"The door slammed but Malfoy was inside.I decided to see what was going on and stopped at the top of the stairs.Tom was leaning with his back against the wall in shock and Malfoy was stood cowering.He looked up to plead for help but I kept my face passive and walked back to my room.Managing to catch the last order that Tom gave to Malfoy.
"Then tell them we will fight,now get out!"
