"Hagrid!"My voice gave way just as I passed out from lack of oxygen. When I woke up again I was in my dorm,it took me a minute or two to remember what had happened and then everything came flooding back like a flash.I could smell food being cooked and the winter sun was on the rise which meant it must be morning.I swung out of bed using the pole to stand just in case I fell before seeing that I could stand properly without falling.
After getting changed into dark blue jeans and a top with a jumper to keep me warm as it could get quite cold when you were away from the fire which is why me and Tom had been staying by it for as long as we could occupying ourselves with reading for almost every hour of the day.I walked down the steps to find that Tom had spun round just as I turned the corner.
"Tom"I acknowledged him and carried walking to breakfast hardly noticing when he speed walked up to me as I was deep in thought.
"Clara about last night I don't know what came over me it was stupid of me to do such a thing and I deeply regret it,you don't know how worried I was and the teachers were just about to send a search party out for you when that buffoon Hagrid arrived with you."Tom rambled on beside me not even saying sorry but I should have realized that it was beneath Tom to apologize even to me.We were near the entrance of the great hall when Tom caught onto the fact that I hadn't spoken to him during the entire journey as he grabbed my wrist and when I spun round to get his hand off my wrist,I had to talk to him otherwise I couldn't leave but I did put up a fight for about five minutes before getting it into my brain that he wouldn't let me go until he had gotten a word out of me.Typical.
"Why are you ignoring me?"Tom asked and I refrained from rolling my eyes this was why he wasn't put into Ravenclaw.
"Isn't it obvious the whole journey you have been asking for an apology and yet you haven't even said sorry and after what you did yesterday...when you turned into something else, someone I did not know that would be the least I expect from you!"I hissed but kept quiet because there were still a few students and teachers around.Toms eyes widened in shock but soon changed into a look of anger an fury but it was enough time for me to get my hand free of his wrist and sit next to Fran because as much as I hated her it was better than having a full out argument with Tom in the middle of the great hall,in front of everyone who was still here over the Christmas holidays. After all the years that I had dreaded Fran sitting with me today had to be the only day when I actually sat next to her out of my own free will.
