After looking around for a few minutes I managed to find my clothes neatly placed in the dresser and my shoes in the chest at the bottom of the bed.With a quick look at the clock I realized I was late,6:50 pm shit! That meant I had less than ten minutes to get to that pub Penelope had talked about in the note.I hadn't had time to read all of it so after changing I grabbed the note and rope which I was going to use for escaping quietly out the house,I didn't want another run in with Abraxas or Jean tonight.Closing my door quietly behind me I rushed to an open window,tied the rope to the beam and slid down.Only just missing the watchful eyes of the pair that I had been hiding from all afternoon as I reached the bottom.Hiding I peeked through the window who were having a serious conversation in the study.

"You cannot go back now,he will kill us all if we don't do as he says,just follow his orders,speak only when spoken to and we may just live through this!"Jean hissed at Abraxas as he rolled his eyes.I wanted to listen to more,who were they talking about and why would the mysterious 'he' kill them if they didn't do as he says.The sound of bushes moving from the maze behind me made me jump out of fright.Time to go,I don't want to get caught again.Taking out Penelopes letter I began to wander through the maze towards the big double iron gates which was where I could escape this hellhole...for a night at least.

Step one
when you arrive at the inn make sure to order us both drinks,I have muggle flasks I took from my parents...and pay for the drinks if you don't mind

I frowned at the last bit reaching to my jean pockets to find at least 20 galleons from when I did a part time job at the Leaky Cauldron last summer.

Step two
After the drinks are in the flasks we should apparate to the game and go to our tent to get ready...I hope you brought your funky scarf to show your support for the Bulgarians!

"Oh shit!"I exclaimed lowering the letter when I noticed a large posionous snake in front of the gate.I was fine with snakes but I didn't exactly want to get bitten and risk Penelopes wrath.As I put a foot over the snake it shot its head up and bared its fangs which made me flinch not at its teeth but at its eyes.They looked so much like Toms...never mind I have to leave or I will be late.

"Stay there!"I didn't know why the heck I was talking to a snake but I felt as though it could understand me.

"I mean it,I will give you some nice juicy treats when I get back if you let me leave"I raised my eyebrows and squealed out of joy when the snake began to slither away.Taking one last look at Malfoy manor I ran upon seeing Mother and son come outside.

"Hello,its a pleasure to see you again!Shes been very quiet up in that room of hers but I am sure she will be very pleased to see you"Who the heck were they talking about?I had put the locket on to keep it safe as I didn't really trust the Malfoys and by the looks of it they weren't hanging around with the best of people.Not looking back I ran as fast as I could to the inn where I ordered the drinks and found Penelope sat at a table,who happened to be looking at her watch in annoyance.

"Your late!"She snapped with furrowed eyebrows and I rolled my eyes taking a look at the watch.

"Only by one minute,never mind about that lets just put these in the flasks and go!Those Malfoys are crazy i am telling you!"Without another seconds thought Penelope lost her anger and poured the drinks swiftly into the flasks.

"Right lets go!"I said and grabbed her hand apparating from the street to the grounds of the qudditch world cup.It was amazing.After finding out tent which was the biggest tent I had ever seen we went to find our seats.

"How many more now?"Penelope wheezed out as we climbed another set of steps to the top.

"We're here!"I exclaimed excitedly and wandered off to our seats only to find Slughorn was next to us.Taking our seats the Irish theme began to play and the players flew onto the pitch.

"Good to see you Clara!You know I saw Tom just know!He's looking very good at the moment if you know what I mean"Slughorn wittered on but I was stuck on the part where he said he had seen Tom.

"You saw Tom!Where?"I needed to know where he was or else I was seriously going to be dead meat.

"Oh only a couple floors down."He replied as the Bulgarians came on and Penelope gave me a nudge.

"Hey look here's your team,may the best team win!"She squealed with excitement and I smiled but I was too busy concentrating on the fact that Tom was here...no wonder he had been so easy to persuade he knew I was coming here and so decided he could keep an eye on me for afar.I was done for.
