“Nolita Fairy-tale….
Nolita Fairy-tale….” I finished off the song, and looked up at Simon for approval. He stood there smiling.
“So…?” I asked.
“That’s fantastic,” he said, “I think we got something here. So you want to change into folk-ish, indie even right?”
“Not exactly… I don’t really want a genre; I just want to play the music.”
“Normally I would veto that thought,” Simon started, I knew what was coming so I smiled, “But you’ve proven to be able to handle your own decisions, for the better, so it’s in your hands.”
I stood up and hugged, “Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!” I’ve never been this excited about something, “Okay so I was think that it would be cool if we have ‘The Lucky One’ be the first song on the album, and ‘Nolita Fairy-Tale’ being the last, so it’s like…Showing what I did over the past six months. You know at the start I was scared, and I became that girl who hated her job, but then at the ends, where I am now, I’m back to being happy, and not worrying about everything else. It’s your job to worry.”
We both laughed and smiled at my ramble.
I heard a knock on the door and then it opened to show a pretty little Minka at the door in her casual pencil skirt.
“I thought I heard Ava playing!” she said while smiling. She hugged me tight and I did too, “I hope you don’t mind but a couple of people were asking for you down stairs and I sort of let them come up with me.”
“Minka you know I said no fans in the building!” declared Simon.
“I don’t mind,” I said with a smile, “I missed this.”
“Oh they’re not fans, there pests,” laughed Minka.
One Direction ran inside and I was tackled with love.
“You guys already saw me!” I shouted with a laughed.
“We came to see you again,” said Louis helping me off the ground.
“We wanted you to come to the Pier with us!” said Harry while hugging me once again.
“It’ll be fun everyone is going to be there!” laughed Louis, “You get to say hi to Eleanor, and the others; we get to hang out like the gang we were!”
“I would love that, but I have to stay here and work out some stuff with Simon for the Album.” I said.
“We’ll wait for you,” said Niall out of the blue. I expected him of all people to say something like, “Oh well if you have to stay sure, we won’t intrude, I’ll just go hang out with Amy while you work on the album that probably has songs written about me, stating how much your hurt by my decision to push you away so quickly! And you not being the one after we were together for long!”
“I can’t let you guys change your plans just for me…” I said finally ending my mental rant.
“Well if you can’t come,” started Liam, “I guess we’ll be-”
“It’s no problem,” said Niall, “The day is young, we can just push things down a bit, and we should all catch up a bit.”
I felt the awkwardness invade the room. The boys knew that they should just leave me alone to work today, and I won’t mind it. I don’t expect them to change their plans for the day just because I’m back.
And for some odd reason Niall just won’t take no for an answer.
“You guys should go,” I said pushing them away so that Niall couldn’t reject my suggestion, “Don’t let me change your plans, we can hang out tomorrow! Anyway, the groups waiting for you down at the pier right?”
