I saw Eleanor kiss Louis goodbye where the boys were scattered around the surprisingly empty- ish airport. I stood around awkwardly while I waited for Niall to get off the phone with his mum.

"Alright," laughed Niall, "I promise you, I'll be safe.... Yes I'll eat! C'mon Mum don't you know me?...."

I smiled at him while Niall waved at me, telling me it won't be long now.

"I love you too," Smiled Niall towards his mother. I smiled myself at hearing him say so to his mother.

If I told my mother I loved her she would say something around the lines of, "Say what you will, we are sticking to our decision to disown you."

Lovely people Amelia and Alexander Granados are.

I felt Niall's arms wrap around my waist and sighed. He set his chin on my shoulder and we rocked back and forth the slightest bit.

"How long?" I asked him implicitly.

"About a month," Niall sighed letting his arms drop.

I thought it all over.

"It's just another tour," I reminded myself. I don't know why it mattered to me so much right now. I've dealt with this before but not until now had I seen the real issue of it all.

Eleanor put up a good facade. She looked just fine. She seemed to accept the fact that it was going to be a while.

So why couldn't I?

I gulped a bit and looked back at his blue eyes. The were the clearest blue I had ever seen. Clearer than my. Then of course my eyes got darker.

I was always the darker end of our long stick...

"Okay," I said, mostly to myself.

"I'm gonna miss you," Niall told me. He dug his chin back into my neck nuzzling deeper on purpose. I yelped out from his grip and the tickled sensation.

I knew my neck was reddened by his evil chin and I playfully slapped his arm.

Niall walked forward towards me and once again wrapped his arm around my waist.

"I love you," he reminded me.

I smiled at him. He was giving our little pattern a little twist. He never told me loved at this point. He usually never stopped telling me on the car ride over here.

"I know," I told him. I kissed his soft pink lips and smiled at his face. He was beautiful in every way, "I love you too."

I saw a worker from the airport go up to the boys a few yards away and sighed.

Time to go.

"Call me when you land, okay?" I told Niall. He shook his head in agreement, "All right."

I said with a sigh.

"You're starting to sound like my mother," laughed Niall, "How 'bout you go back to being my girlfriend and kiss me, huh?"

I laughed at him and shook my head.

"You little smart-ass!" I told him. I kissed him anyway and smiled between it.

"I'm gonna miss you," I told him while hugging him.

"I’m going to miss you too," he assured me, "I'll call, don't worry."

"I'm your girlfriend," I wanted to tell him, “I’m supposed to worry! I’m like an overprotective mom!”

But instead I went with: “Okay.”
