"Yeah," I told Niall over the phone, "It's with my mother."

"And it's her choice?" asked Niall skeptically.

"Yes," I laughed, "It's fancy so wear a nice shirt."

"No problem," he sighed, "Do you think my Hot pink Hoodie will match with my Uggs?"

"Hardy har har," I said pretending to laugh, "Just come please? I need some moral support on this."

"Don't worry," he said, "With you I don't have other options. Anyway I want to meet the famous Amelia Granados."

"No you don't," I sighed.

“Is your dad coming too?” Niall said slightly more grim.

“No,” I said simply, “It’s just mum this time. I should get her a dictionary, I don’t think she knows what disowning means.”

“Well,” sighed Niall, “Less people to deal with right?”

“I guess so,” I sighed.

“You sound tired,” he informed.

“I’m not,” I laughed lightly, “I’m just... exhausted. Alicia’s manager is her mother, so that blew up rather quickly, the meeting lasted far too long, and I just want to sleep.”

“Do you want to go out to get a bite?” he offered.

“Nah,” I sighed, “I’m not all that hungry.”

“Why not?” he asked. I heard him shuffle in his bed for some odd reason.

“I don’t know,” I chuckled, “I’m just not hungry right now.”

“When was the last time you ate?” he pressed on.

“I don’t know,” I said slightly picking up on his inferences, “ Probably two hours ago.” I lied.

“Oh,” he said.

“Yeah.”

I don’t know why I lied. I guess I just knew what he was expecting to hear. I don’t want him to think I’m some case that’s on borderline relapse.

"Well I'm gonna nap," I informed him, "So I'll see you later."

“Yeah,” replied Niall, “Night. I love you.”

“Love you too,” I smiled.

I swear I’m going to hyperventilate.

“We should go,” I said to Niall, “ No one’s here yet, we’re early, they’ll never know we left.”

“You want to?” He asked with a shrug.

“Wait are you serious?!” I asked him with happy surprise. I didn’t think he would let me leave this place.

I kind of feel bad leaving though. I wore a dress for fucks sake! Niall cleaned up and shit and-

Jesus fuck, I can’t leave Allison’s here alone with these mutts.

“Hey!” I said to Allison while she sat down.

I clutched my purse for dear life.

There goes the next three hours of my life.

“Niall’s here....” She speculated, “No offence, but why?”

“I asked him to come.” I said simply.

“Ava, this isn’t a companion needed sort of thing....” said Allison in a whisper so that Niall wouldn’t hear, even though he probably did.
