“When did you even do this?” I asked Niall while going into the movie theatre.
It was empty; not the entire thing, I wouldn’t be okay with that, but only the second floor. If he was going to rent out the entire theatre I would think he was being pretentious, so he only rented out the room we were actually going to use which was good.
“I was pulling some strings online,” he said with a shrug.
I knew exactly what that shrug meant though; my lovely Niall was proud of himself, but didn’t wanna seem like a show off. He was being his lovely humble self.
I wrapped my arm around his while taking some of the popcorn from the bin that rested on his lap.
We were watching a silent film.
“I thought you hated really old movies; ‘overacting kills’, remember?” I told Niall spectically.
“I know,” he said with a chuckle, “But in my head I can pretend they’re saying something else.”
“I wanna pretend!” I told him while taking a handful of his popcorn.
“Well we can be as loud as we want,”smiled Niall, ”What do you think they’re saying?”
I couldn’t help but giggle and turned to the screen. There was a woman dressed in Southern American Bell clothing, while talking to a man who seemed appalled by her words.
“I fucked a lot of men,” I said speaking in a southern accent with some sass.
“Out of wedlock?!”said Niall with fake shock while making a posh american accent.
I held in a laugh and carried on with our pretend dialog.
"All the time; is that a gift?" I asked with the accent.
"Its soap!" Exclaimed Niall gleefully with a giggle, "so that you can finally bathe."
"I can bathe 4 times a day with this much!"
"Good you need it," said Niall with his accent no longer in play. I turned to him to see why he stopped to catch him look at me already.
"Thats insulting," I responded in my normal american accent while looking at Niall. "Thank you."
"Any time, any day, any place," said Niall simply.
I smiled at him and kissed him softly. He was absolutly everything I wanted; and to think I had a moment of doubt.

The date was nice. It was very nice. And then it turned to shit. Well... not entirely. It had a shitty moment, that ruined the rest of the day, and scarred the date in my memory as the ‘plot-twist date’ rather than the date that Niall surprised me with. It’s shit how memory works that way. Only remembering the bad things.
I should start from the turning point, shouldn’t I?
“That was nice,” I said referring to the movie while leaving the theatre room.
“Very,”agreed Niall, “You have a good posh accent.”
“Why thank you,” I said in that very same accent, “I was once a Theatre-Geek in high school.”
Through the glass doors and building I could see people leaving, others entering, and a man leaving his car,and putting the lock on it.
“Makes sense,” laughed Niall while we walked hand in hand past the exit doors while the workers went to open the second floor back up again.
