OIKAWA'S ENDING

"So, who's it going to be?"

As all three of them stared at me, I only saw one answer, RUN. If all three of them were on the couch, there was no way they would catch up, so I did what I do best. I ran as fast as I could for as long as I could, and I didn't look back. I kept going until I realized where I was.

FLASHBACK

"Tooru, stoppp." Laughs left my lips as he wrapped his arms around me and kissed my cheek again.

O: What? Can't I kiss my perfect girlfriend?

*giggle* "You can, but you're supposed to be pushing me."

O: I am.

"Yeah, but every time I get a little bit of height, you stop the swing. You're defeating the whole purpose."

O: Isn't the purpose of going to the park to spend time with me?

"Hmmm, I mean, I guess, but-"

O: Nope! No buts. We have twenty minutes before we have to head back home, and I intend to spend every second I can, seeing that gorgeous smile and kissing that adorable face.

END OF FLASHBACK

Date night with Tooru, seriously, how is this fair? Why am I thinking about the times filled with laughs and kisses and so many cuddles? We had more bad times than good times, but...there were so many good times...Why did it have to end? Why couldn't we just be a normal couple? "Why the hell did you have to ruin parks for me?" That idiot. More thoughts of Tooru began to fill my head. From playing volleyball with him to watching movies to having him hold me as I cried. That idiot, why did he have to come into my life? Why couldn't he just leave me alone? My head snapped up as I heard a noise.

O: I knew you'd be here. You always did like the cherry blossom trees.

"Tooru."

O: Hey, it's okay; I know how hard this is for you; I didn't come to make it any harder. *smiles* I actually came to make this easier on you.

"I'm listening."

O: (P/N), I'm taking my hat out of the ring. I'm moving to Rio permanently.

"YOU'RE WHAT?"

O: I'm leaving.

"So because something may not go your way, you think leaving and running away is the right move?"

O: I do.

"You realize that's the very reason you're in this mess, right?"

O: I'm not good for you. I've hurt you one too many times, and every time you've made your way back to me, I hurt you again. I can't do it anymore. Seeing you cry and knowing that it's all my fault, it hurts me. Before the couch, I was going to tell you.... I was just trying to find the words....

"Maybe, Hey (P/N), before we have sex, heads up I'm leaving in two days, k? K."

O: I didn't want to make it seem like I was chasing after you just because I was leaving again, but I also didn't want to scare you away.

"Scare me? Gee-"

O: I bought you a ticket

"Huh?"

O: (P/N), I was serious when I asked you to marry me. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, but asking you to move to Rio... it's a lot. It's a big sacrifice to leave your entire life behind, and I don't expect you to make it. I wanted you to come to Rio to check it out and see how you were feeling. I wasn't planning on proposing today, not like this. It just happened, but I'm not upset it did because I meant every single word of it.
