Chapter 26: POTENTIAL

We arrived in Saitama at the ungodly hour of 7AM. Nekoma came to greet us. Tanka, Noya and Hinata all ran off the bus. Idiots. I walked out followed by Daichi and the rest of the team.

Kuroo: Hi baby

Tetsu kissed the side of my head. I gave him a side hug and grumpily said hi. He chuckled, intertwined our fingers and grabbed my bag with his free hand.

D: Kuroo, as helpful as ever I see. Do you want to grab my bag too?

Kuroo: One of my many duties as a boyfriend. You'll understand someday.

H: WHERE'S THE SKY TREE? IS THAT IT? IS THAT THE TOKYO TOWER?

Kenma: Uh that's just a normal transmission tower.

Kuroo: What's the deal? You guys don't have steel towers in Miyagi? Is this a real thing I don't know about?

D: Oh excuse us if us simple country folk don't know what the Tokyo Tower looks like.

S: This is Saitama. We're not even in Tokyo.

I let go of Tetsu's hand.

Kuroo: Something wrong, babe?

I gave him a tired look and with a blank face I said "You're annoying. I'm going to walk with Tobi."

D: You let your girlfriend talk to you like that?

Kuroo: At least I have a girlfriend.

I walked to the back of the group. "Hinata looks like he's having fun."

K: Don't care

"Are you just tired, hungry or upset that this isn't the Tokyo Tower?"

K: Don't know

"Did you apologize to Hinata yet?"

K: Don't count on it.

It was quiet. We were about to reach the gym when SWISH a breeze passed by. But it wasn't a breeze because I was being picked up by this breeze.

B:HEY. HEY HEY (P/N)! DID YOU MISS ME? I MISSED YOU.

"No, put me down."

B:AW COME ON, I KNOW YOU DID.

"Unless you're going to carry me the rest of the way, put me down before I block your number."

B: CARRY YOU? YOU GOT IT!

"AHHHHHHH, BOKUTO SLOW DOWN. I WASN'T BEING SERIOUS. SOMEBODY CALL AN ADULT." At the top of the stairs Bokuto had set me down and was breathing heavy. He smiled so triumphantly it made it hard for me to be mad at him. All I could do was laugh and as if on cue we both simultaneously did. The boys were waking up the stairs with some of Nekoma when they saw me hug Bokuto. When he picked me up this time it was only to spin me around once.

B: I really did miss you.

"It's only been two weeks and we texted and sent pictures everyday."

Kuroo: What kind of pictures are you sending my girl?

"Wouldn't you like to know." *wink* Tetsu wrapped his arm over my shoulder and pulled me close.

Kuroo: Looks like someone's in a better mood.

Kenma: Can you blame her? She just rode on Hurricane Bokuto.

"KENMA!!! DID YOU MISS ME? CAUSE I MISSED YOU." I engulfed Kenma in a hug.

Kenma: I saw you two weeks ago.

Kenma loosely wrapped his arms around me.

Kenma: I think you should let go know. Kuroo looks like he's about to cry.
