Breaking the Curse (Chapter 99)

Max: -walks up to where AK is laying on the bed- True love's kiss breaks the spell, huh? -he's talking to AK-

AK: ... -doesn't respond-

Max: You really are asleep, aren't you. You're not faking it.

AK: ...

Olaf: -hides behind a chair and quietly observes-

Max: -strokes her cheek- Well, it's now or never, right? -leans in for the kiss, but stops before he reaches her lips-

Olaf: -silently gasps-

Max: Oh, if only there was someone who still loved you?

Olaf: (Thinking: WHAT? Oh no, the ship has been crushed! D':)

Max: -starts monologging- Sure, our relationship was good while it lasted, but then, I got bored. I had to move on! I've gotta play my cards right! I need to fly free, from flower to flower; I can't stay in a permanent relationship forever!

Olaf: (That low lying player! He doesn't deserve AK anymore!)

Max: Sure, I saved you before, but that was then, and this is now. But, you're such a nice person, I didn't want to hurt you. So this is the perfect opportunity to break it off! If you never wake up, you'll never be hurt! Besides, I have my own plans to attend to, now.

Olaf: (I wanna punch him I wanna punch him I wanna punch him in the tenders!)

Max: -pulls the pen out of his pocket- You see, they didn't realize that I still have this. So now, with the most powerful weapon in existence, I can take over this pathetic castle, then the world! The pen really is mightier than the sword, isn't it?

Olaf: -accidentally steps on a creaky floor board-

Max: -turns and sees Olaf- You! You heard my secrets!

Olaf: YOU'RE A JERK WHO DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE TO KNOW US!

Max: Well, I don't want your... snow... on my hands, so I'm not going to kill you to keep you quiet. -writes on a sticky note-

Olaf: *his snow flurry disappears- Gah!

Max: I'll just leave you to die! I'll say that the curse was too strong, and the girl simply couldn't be awaken. And as for you, you ran away because you couldn't accept your friend's fate! -turns the heat way up, and leaves, locking the door-

Olaf: Uh oh. My knowledge will be the end of me!

Meanwhile, in the hall-

Elsa: -the door opens- Look guys, the door is opening! We'll have AK back... -Max walks out by himself- Now?

Anna: Where's AK? Did the kiss work?

Max: ... -staggers a bit- Well... no. It didn't. -he slumps into a chair-

Hans: What?

Max: The curse... it's too strong. Whatever you guys read about didn't work.

Kristoff: What?

Max: It can't be broken. I'm devastated to say, our dear friend will sleep forever!

Hans: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! :'(

Anna: Wait... what?

Elsa: Oh no!

Kristoff: Hey... where did Olaf go?

Max: I dunno, I haven't seen him.

Meanwhile...

Olaf: This is bad. This is really bad! -he's starting to melt- Ah! My nose! -it slides out- Oh well. If this really is my end, I'm glad to spend it with one of my best friends, even if she can't hear me. -he climbs up to sit on the bed- Don't worry, AK! I'll watch out for you, no matter what! You'll always be able to count on me as a friend... -he tries to hold his face together- Even if I melt in the next few minutes. Well, even if I do, I'll be happy knowing that my last few minutes were spent with someone as amazing as you! -he gives her a kiss of friendship on the cheek, right before he melts into a puddle-

AK: -wakes up-

*~* Inside her head *~*

I open my eyes, shakily. The light hurts. I blink a couple times, waiting for my eyesight to focus. Wait... why was I asleep with my glasses on? Wait... how did I get here? One second, I was eating breakfast, and now, I'm... here? I try to lift my head up, but movement causes my head to nearly split with pain. I groan. Wait... why is my hand wet? Aw, shoot, I must have had one of those bathroom dreams. Wait... my hand's cold. Good, it's not pee. But wait... why is my hand and the left side of my face in a puddle of water? I manage to re-position my head without much pain. I wonder what I've been through for my entire body to be stiff like this. Oh, and the fact that I'm wet. I look down to see a carrot, two sticks, and five coals sitting in the puddle of water that my hand is in.

Meanwhile...

Elsa: -hugs a pillow- But how could the kiss not work?

Anna: I don't know! I'm not a love expert! Maybe we should Skype the Trolls or something?

Hans: -cries in a corner, wrapped in a pink bathrobe, hugging The Plant, and sucking his thumb- Plant, you're my only friend now!

Elsa: Isn't that... my... robe...?

Kristoff: Hang on a second. I just remembered. Who has the pen?

Elsa: I don't!

Anna: Me either.

Hans: So Plant, what's your favorite color? Green? That's cool. My favorite color is toothbrush.

Kristoff: I doubt he's emotionally stable enough to have it. So I don't have it, and Olaf's MIA, so who does that leave?

Max: -casually holds up the pen- Looking for something?

Anna: Wait... what?

Max: Remember this day, good people of Arendelle, for today, a new era of reign begins! *Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Hans walk into a dungeon that randomly appears, and the door locks*

Kristoff: Hey! What's going on?

Anna: You traitor! We trusted you!

Meanwhile...

AK: -connects the dots- Olaf! -gasp- Wait, how did you melt? Why is it so warm in here? Why am I laying on top of my sheets with glasses on, wearing Monday's pajamas if my digital alarm clock says today is Thursday? And why do I feel like I've been asleep for a long time? -she manages to sit up- Whoa, head rush. -feels her pocket- Oh gosh! Where's the pen? -looks down at the puddle again- I'll be back for you, Olaf! First I need to investigate! -she manages to stand up, but crashes into a lamp- Ooh! Legs asleep! Pins and needles... Ugh, why is the floor spinning? Okay, come on, AK, do this! You can walk! Even if you feel as dizzy as spinning top, you have to walk out that door! And just in case... -looks around for an object of defense and finds a Wii Remote- Good enough! -she pulls out her spare key and opens the door, waving her remote like a sword- Good people of this castle, I am here to investigate and/ or solve this problem! But why are there nine suits of armor when there should be three? Oh well, I can stand! Good enough!
