The Hospital (Chapter 14)

Outside Spruce County Hospital (SCH)...

AK: So here's the plan. -holds up signed papers- Elsa and I are nurses, and Kristoff's the doctor. These are documents describing our transport of patient number 342-A... aka Princess Anna. Let's do this! -they run in the hospital doors, leaving Olaf in the minivan, which has been painted like an ambulance, listening to show tunes-

Olaf: Hum hum hum... I have been changed for good! Hum hum hum...

Kristoff: What is this place?

AK: -to Kristoff- This is a place that people in my world go when they're sick, like a doctor's office. -to the secretary- Hi, um, we have papers of transit for the patient in room 342-A.

Secretary: -looks at papers- Okay. Go on up. And here's a note for the doctors in the ICU so they know you're moving the patient.

Elsa: Okay. -whispers to AK- What's the ICU?

AK: Intensive care unit. It's where patients go when the doctors aren't sure how to treat them. Like, I'm pretty sure that none of the doctors here have treated a frozen heart. Let's go! -they ride the elevator to floor 7. Elevator music plays-

Elsa: -singing along- Why must I be a teenager in love? -the doors open- Where to?

AK: Room 342-A. -they walk in the room. Anna's wearing the navy blue hoodie under a thick layer of blankets and asleep. The doctors are trying to figure out why she won't get warm. They're shocked when her hair turns whiter-

Elsa: Um, hi, we have orders to transport this patient to, um, the state medical center.

Doctor: Okay... -Kristoff wheels the bed out of the room and into the elevator. On the elevator, Anna wakes up-

Anna: K-k-k-Kristoff?

Kristoff: -calmly- Shh. You're supposed to be asleep. We're going back to Arendelle.

Elsa: Why wait?

AK: We have to be sure the magic will work. Arendelle's full of magic!

Elsa: But my magic works!

AK: That's different. I Googled it.

Anna: W-w-what's Google?

AK: I'll explain later. Quick, pretend to be asleep! -Anna closes her eyes. They go outside and leave the bed and IVs inside, and Kristoff carries Anna to the minivan/"ambulance"-

Olaf: What happened?

AK: No time! Olaf, you and I get to drive! -Kristoff lays Anna on the back bench seats. AK puts the furnace on max even though it's summer, and gives Anna a spare blanket. Elsa and Kristoff sit on the floor in the back near Anna. "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" is on the radio. AK breaks the speed limit and does like 120 mph, but miraculously, she doesn't get pulled over. They get home and run to the portal. AK adjusts the portal thermostat to very warm as Anna's hair turns pure white-

Elsa: Where do we go?

AK: Follow my previous instructions in reverse, then when we see the Mona Lisa in the hall of paintings, it swings open to reveal the portal to Arendelle.

Kristoff: Just hang in there Anna.

Anna: :)
