DAWN EVANS POV:
I walked into the house, side by side with Arion. I was greeted by our house elf Zelda.

"Hello, welcome back Ms.Dawn and Mr.Arion."
She smiled and hugged our legs considering she could only reach my thigh.

I patted her head with a smile.
"Do you know where Mum and Dad are?"
I asked.

"Mr.Laurent is in his office and Mrs.Amoret is upstairs with Ember."
She said on her way back to the kitchen.

"I'm gonna go say hi to mum and Ember."
Arion said.

I nodded.
"I'm gonna go see dad."
I smiled as we went in two different directions.

I heard a squeal from Mum coming from upstairs. She must've really missed him.

I was met with Dads office door, I raised my hand and knocked my knuckles against the glass door.

"Who is it?"
He shouted, not aggressive.

"I'm not sure, guess you'll have to come out and see!"
I shouted back with a grin.

They knew we were coming back today, they just didn't expect us this early.

Through the glass I saw him push the chair back and run up to the door, he pulled it open quickly and I was met with a huge smile.

He picked me up and spun me around the whole room, jumping up and down. I was uncontrollably laughing.

He finally set me down but kept his hands on my shoulders.

"Merlin, you're like a child on Christmas."
I groaned.

"If you think my reaction was bad, hold off seeing mum and Ember."
He laughed.

"Oh god-
I started but not before Ember was running down the stairs and towards me.

I groaned out a 'Merlin' when she jumped on me, luckily she wasn't heavy and I was able to catch her.

She wrapped her legs around my waist and stuck her head into the crook of my neck.

"I think you guys might've missed me if i'm not mistaken."
I laughed as she jumped out of my arms to look up at me.

"Don't get to used to it, i'm leaving again in two weeks."
I groaned as I stretched out my back from all the movement.

Ember slightly frowned.

"Don't worry Ember, i'll spend most of it with you guys."
I grinned.

"I'm gonna go see mom then probably take a nap, i'm exhausted."
They both nodded and I started walking upstairs.

I was immediately met with the embrace of my mother. I sighed out of relief that it was just her and hugged her back.

"You scared me."
I laughed tapping my chest to catch my breath.

"I'm sorry, I just missed you and Arion so much."
She slightly laughed.

"Was the train ride home okay?"
She asked calming down.

I remembered the situation with Draco on the train but i'd die before I told my my mom about me and Draco.

"Yeah it was good."
I nodded.

"Good good, what did you want for dinner? I'll make whatever you'd like for your and Arions night back!"
She squealed.

"Some sort of pasta, surprise me."

"Okay, i'll even invite the Malfoys over."
She yelled as she walked down the stairs.

"Oh fuck me."
I groaned as I walked to my room.

As I entered I was met with my room and exactly how I left it. It was pretty clean. Bed made and clothes put away.

Not like sweeped and mopped. There was obviously dust and shit.

I groaned as I fell on my bed. I wasn't even able to unpack my luggage before I fell asleep.

I woke up to my mom shouting at me from downstairs. I was still half asleep but all I heard was 'The Malfoys are here!'

Jesus, cant anyone in this family take a hint.

I know I usually dress up when we have guests over but it's the Malfoys. I have nobody to impress.

I grabbed a pair of jeans off my dresser and slid them on. I took a black tank top and put that on as well, followed by a dark green and and black striped flannel.

I opened my door and started walking down stairs. I was not ready to sit next to Draco for a whole dinner. They always have the same placement too.

The two ends of the table are Lucius and my dad. Then beside them are my mom and Narcissa. Ember and Arion beside my mom and me and Draco beside Narcissa.

I finally finished walking downstairs when I was immediately met with arms wrapped around me.

"My dearest Dawn! How was school?"
Narcissa squealed as she let go of me. I was definitely woken up now.

"Oh it was great!"
I smiled back shaking Lucius hand per usual.

I turned back to my family before Draco tried to say hello to me.

"Let's eat shall we?"
Mum asked directing us all over to the table.

Everyone walked into the dining room, but before I could someone grabbed my wrist. I already knew who it was considering everyone else was seated.

DRACO MALFOYS POV:
Before Dawn entered the dining room I grabbed her hand. I needed to talk to her.

Please Dawn."
I begged hoping she'll finally let me explain, and have a conversation with me.

"What do you want from me, Draco? You made it as clear as possible what you wanted and now you're switching moods."
She said pulling her hand back.

"I didn't mean what I said in your dorm."
I whispered so they couldn't hear me.

"It sure came out like you've been building it up for awhile."
She scoffed crossing her arms over her chest.

"Just let me explain after dinner."
I begged more.

"What is there to explain? You keep repeating the same thing as if the more you say it i'll pity you. 'I didn't mean it.' Draco, I know the only reason you're trying to make me forgive you is so you'll have someone to sleep with again. You can fuck any girl at school or in this town even. Why do you need me?"
She spat out as if it was word vomit.

Because I fancy you Dawn Evans.

Just fucking say it Draco. It's not hard. Tell her you like her, tell her you need her.

"Because I-
I was finally about to say it. I was going to tell her how I felt.

"Are you guys coming?"
Amoret interrupted me.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me."
