"It's Draco."

I woke up with the worst pain in between my legs and the largest headache. Jesus, how rough were Draco and I yesterday?

Arion also found out. I'm not worried though, I know he won't snitch and if he does i'll just destroy his action figures.

I got up and got dressed, brushed my teeth, and hair. The whole house was already up and moving around, that's what woke me up.

I walked downstairs and my mom was making breakfast, Arion and Ember were watching TV, but my dad wasn't in sight. Must be in his study.

"Mum, is dad in his study."
I asked walking into the kitchen and leaning on the counter.

"As always."
She slightly laughed, I laughed along sitting on one of our stools.

It was a moment of a silence before she broke it again.

"So, any ideas for your birthday?"
She asked turning around letting whatever was in the stove cook.

"Pardon?"
I almost forgot about my birthday holy shit.

My birthdays in like a week. Fuck, I will be at Hogwarts. I won't even be able to see my family.

"Your birthday. You know, in a week?"
My mom asked concerned.

I was silent for a bit trying to think of an answer. Of course I haven't planned anything.

"Dawn. Have you not thought about it? Did you forget?"
My mom started questioning.

"I've been busy-

"Not an excuse, you're celebrating it. You will be 17, that's one year closer to becoming an adult."

"Ugh don't remind me."
I groaned.

"Plus you're graduating next year, Dawn. Do you have anything in mind that you want to do after school."

"Mom, no. It's too early to be thinking about it."
I shrugged and walked out of the kitchen.

"It's never early!"
I heard her shout one last time before walking in the living room with Arion and Ember.

Arion was playing with some action figures and Ember was watching a children's TV show.

I was bored out of my fucking mind, and this TV show is ridiculous.

Knock knock.

"I'll get it!"
Arion smiled before getting up and running to the door.

A few seconds have passed before Arion walked back in with Draco behind him. My eyes widened.

Arion had a grin on his face.

"It's for you, Dawn."
He smirked.

I glared at him, and walked over to the two of them.

Draco took my hand and kissed it. I got slightly red, but it quickly went away.

"Not in front of my mom."
I gritted through my teeth.

He looked over in the kitchen to see my mom with her back turned.

"Don't be so tight, she isn't even looking."
He grinned.

I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah yeah, what's up?"
I asked crossing my arm and swatting Arion back to the living room.

"Well, I came over to ask if-

He leaned into my ear to whisper it.

"-you officially wanted to go on a date."
He pulled back with a grin on his face.

My face was merlin knows how red, he actually wanted to take me on a date? It's a little late to ask, but I mean- i'll take it.

I nodded with a grin equal to his. His grin turned into a smile and hugged me.

Yes, one of those cheesy hugs where they pick you up and spin you.

He finally put me down so I could run upstairs and change into a dress or something.

I ran upstairs with a smile on my face, I was very excited for this date.

I rammed through my closet trying to find a dress that went with Draco's black suit.

I found a black silk dress that had a slit in the left leg. It was perfect. I found a black leather jacket that i've worn maybe once. They went together well.

I got dressed quickly and but on my boots, fuck high heels. I've never worn them and i'm not starting today.

I tied the laces and walked back downstairs. Draco was bonding with Arion over an action figure. I slightly smiled at how much Arion liked him.

I walked into the kitchen to tell my mom i'll be gone for a few hours.

"Mom, i'm going to go out for a few hours if that's alright."
I asked walking beside her.

"That's fine hun-
She looked at me and cut herself off.

"Merlin, who are you dressing up for."
She slightly laughed but had a smile on her face.

"I'm not dressed up, and just a uhm. A friend."
I lied straight to my mothers face.

"What's this friends name?"
She asked crossing her arms.

"I have to go now, bye mom!"
I asked trying to get out of here already.

Before I could walk out of the kitchen she grabbed my arm and pulled me back in.

"Not so fast."

"What, mom?"
I groaned.

"Who are you so dressed up for?"
She asked again.

"I'm just hanging out! I like to get dressed up! I'm not dressed up for anyone."

"Liar!"
I heard Arion shout from the living room.

"Shut up, Arion!"
I shouted back.

I looked back at my mom and she stood there with an eyebrow raised.

"It's Draco."
I said lower than usual.

She dropped her eyebrow and smirk, and changed to a smile. She started pulling me in for a tight hug.

"Finally!"
She shrieked.

"W-what?"
I asked pulling away.

"I definitely saw that coming, go on now. Go have fun."
She smiled and turned back to her dish.

I stood dumbfounded. She knew? Does dad know?

"M-mom?"
I asked, she turned around.

"Don't tell dad yet please?"
I begged.

She nodded and winked.

"I won't, now go have fun on your date."
She smiled.

"Mom, not so loud."
I gritted through my teeth as I walked out and into the living room where Draco was still waiting.

"Ready to go?"
I asked standing in front of Draco.

"Definitely."
He smirked looking my up and down.

I rolled my eyes and walked over to the front door, Draco following.

We walked out the front door and as soon as I shut it, Draco leaned in and kissed me.

I was surprised at first but I eased into it. I kissed him back equally as passionate before pulling away.

"You look stunning, Evans."
He smirked and put his arm out for me to take.

"And you look charming, Malfoy."
I grinned and took his arm.
