Chapter 72: Visiting

"Close the door quickly!" Isuzu asked Oikawa to do as he walked in.

"Well good morning to you too missy." Oikawa said chuckling as he closed the door.

"What's this?" Oikawa asked as he saw a few papers on the bed with scribbles.

"Ideas, duh?" Isuzu said rolling her eyes. "Cause someone slept the whole day yesterday so I had to do all the planning."

Oikawa chuckled once again as he walked towards the hospital bed. Coming closer he could see a list of things written with boxes made next to them like a check list and. Another with drawings of like the room the were in with birthday decorations.

"Okay so this is for you." Isuzu said as she handed Oikawa a paper with a few list of things dotted down in bullets.

"You're in charge of decorations and food." Isuzu said.

"Lol okay." Oikawa said shaking his head.

"And what're you in charge of?" Oikawa asked folding his arms.

"I'm the party planner of course!" Isuzu said flipping her hair behind her shoulder dramatically.

"Okay missy..." Oikawa chuckled.

Isuzu then opened up her iPad. "Now come here so I can show you what I need you to get."

The next few minutes were spent with Oikawa and Isuzu going through the internet on which Isuzu showed Oikawa the different type of decorations she had in mind for decorating the room with when they'd surprise Iwaizumi.

"Okay so what're you getting daddy?" Isuzu asked finally shutting her iPad.

"Hmm..haven't thought of anything yet..." Oikawa said nervously scratching the back of his neck.

"NO WAY!" Isuzu exclaimed.

Oikawa nervously smiled.

"YOU HAVE TO GET HIM SOMETHING SPECIAL!!"

"I will, I will...but what should I get-"

"Uncle Oikawa won't this be the first birthday you'll be celebrating daddy's in a while? You should get him something special."

Just then the realization hit Oikawa.

"This will be the first birthday I'll be celebrating with Iwachan since the past 8 well 9ish years..."

"Thus, you have to do something extra special!"

"Zuzu do you want anything from home-Oikawa?" Iwaizumi came in with a cross bag on his shoulder.

"Hey," Oikawa gave a small smile and waved. "I came a while back-"

"Hajime, I need to pick a few things up from-oh Oikawa..." Suzuki said as she came up behind Iwaizumi.

"You were saying daddy?" Isuzu asked cutting through the awkward silence that had fell.

"Yeah," Iwaizumi said pulling out his phone from his black dress pants pockets. "I'm going home to change so if you need anything let me know." Iwaizumi said as he texted someone very focusedly.

"Daddy...you're doing it again." Isuzu sighed.

"Sorry it was a text from one of the departments heads-"

"No not that," Isuzu rolled her eyes. "Furrowing your eyebrows..you don't need any more wrinkles than you already have."

This made Oikawa and Suzuki let out a giggle.

"Like you don't have any." Iwaizumi said to Oikawa rolling his eyes.

"Please I don't have a single one-"

"You want me to-" Iwaizumi started but stoped and locked eyes with Oikawa before he could say anything ahead.

"Uncle Oikawa doesn't have any." Isuzu said as she turned to face Oikawa. "Not a single one."

"Not a single one, right." Iwaizumi repeated what Isuzu said as he made a flat line with his lips still eyes locked with Oikawa before he pulled away as his phone rung.

Answering the phone Iwaizumi left the the room leaving Oikawa, Isuzu and Suzuki alone.

"So what's the plan?" Suzuki asked as she walked up to Oikawa and Isuzu on the hospital bed.

"Well," Isuzu said. "You're in charge of keeping daddy busy tomorrow and to not let him come in the room in the morning." Isuzu told Suzuki.

"Got it." Suzuki replied just then Iwaizumi came back in the room.

"Come on," Iwaizumi said coming in the room "I'm heading out." He made a hand gesture for Suzuki to come along and she winked at Isuzu and Oikawa before she turned around and exited the room.
