Rhodey moved everyone into a different room of the compound and the team began to make a plan.

"So we gotta assume they're coming back, right?" Rhodey began

Wanda answered from the corner, " And they can clearly find us."

"We need all hands on deck. Where's Clint?" Bruce took a break from his pacing to ask Nat.
Tasha explained quickly, "After the whole Accords situation, he and Scott made a deal. It was too tough on their families, they're on house arrest."

Bruce's brows furrowed and he asked, "Who's Scott?"

"Ant-Man." Steve responded abruptly. His hand was gripping Vienna's and she could tell all the information was overwhelming him.
Banner scoffed, "There's an Ant-Man and a Spider-Man? Okay, look... Thanos has the biggest army in the universe. And he is not gonna stop until he... he gets... Vision's Stone."

"Well then, we have to protect it." Nat spoke up, not hesitating for a second.

Vision looked up from the window and said to the group, "No, we have to destroy it. I've been giving a good deal of thought to this entity in my head, about its nature. But also, its composition. I think if it were exposed to a sufficiently powerful energy source, something very similar to its own signature, perhaps... its molecular integrity could fail."

Wanda gasped and stepped even closer to Vis, "And you, with it. We're not having this conversation."

"Eliminating the stone is the only way to be certain that Thanos can't get it." Vision tried to reason with the red haired witch.

She dismissed the idea entirely and repelied, "That's too high a price."

Vision gave her a sad smile and gently held her face, "Only you have the power to pay it." He said as WAnda shook her head and turned away, "Thanos threatens half the Universe. One life cannot stand in the way of defeating him."

Steve looked down but spoke up as he said, "But it should. We don't trade lives, Vision."

"Captain, 70 years ago, you laid down your life to save how many millions of people. Tell me, why is this any different?" Vision countered, walking towards them.

Steve took a breath, as if preparing to argue but Bruce stepped in first, "Because you might have a choice. Your mind is made up of a complex construct of overlays. J.A.R.V.I.S., Ultron, Tony, me, the Stone. All of them mixed together. All of them are learning from one another."

Wanda looked towards Banner with wide eyes, "You're saying Vision isn't just the stone?"

"I'm saying that if we take out the stone, there's still a whole lot of Vision left. Perhaps the best parts." Bruce responded.

Nat questioned, "Can we do that?"

"Not me. Not here." Banner denied before pacing again.

Rhodey looked at him with a pointed look, "You better find someone, and somewhere fast. Ross isn't exactly just gonna let you guys have your old rooms back."

Vienna's hand was squeezed and she looked up to find Steve looking at her with sympathy in his eyes as he answered, "I know somewhere."

~2 Hours Later~

The entire team had boarded the quinjet and were headed to a place Vienna never wanted to return to, Wakanda. As her head fell back Steve walked over. He took a seat next to Vienna and grabbed her shaking hands. The past 2 years had given the couple time to connect and Steve knew almost everything about Vienna, including what had happened in Wakanda.

"Are you sure you're going to be okay? We don't have to do this Vienna.''Steve said gently, still gripping her hands.

"Of course we do, Steve. AS much as I hate to say it, Wakanda is our last hope. I'm not going to ruin it because of something that happened years ago." Vienna spoke confidently but she was freaking out and she wanted nothing more than to turn the jet around. But they couldn't, they had to try. Steve grabbed her chin and forced Vienna to look at him before leaning in and planting a small kiss on her lips.
