My Best Friend [H.S]

Chapter Five

So today I've decided to tell Harry about Liam and I. I'm nervous about how he'll react. I was supportive of his relationship with Olivia so he should be supportive of this. I knock on his door and wait for someone to answer. Soon Louis appears at the door.

"Hey Lou, is Harry home?" I ask.

"Yeah he's in his room." He says moving out of the way, letting me inside. I walk down the hall to Harry's room. The door is closed so I knock on it lightly.

"Sorry Harry, I can't do our date tonight, I forgot about some...other plans..." I hear a voice say. He must be on the phone with Olivia.

"Oh...okay, maybe another night." He says sounding bummed. I hear him sigh so he must of hung up. I knock again and he opens the door.

"Hey Ellie." He says not sounding like his usual self.

"What's wrong?" I ask as I sit on his bed beside him.

"It's just Olivia has been being very distant lately and she just cancelled our date for tonight." He signs. I rub his back.

"Hey it's alright. You don't need her. You have me, the bestest friend in the world." I smile. He lets out a small laugh making my heart swell.

"Thanks El. Anyway, why'd you come here?" He asks. Okay here goes nothing.

"Well I wanted to inform you of some news..." I say.

"Okay what is it?"

"So you know Liam right?" He nods. "Well we're kind of official." I smile.

"Oh that's um great. I'm happy for you..." He says. What's wrong?

"Yeah..Oh! I know what'll make you feel better, movie night!" I smile. He smiles back and I know he agrees.

"You pick a movie and I'll go get some popcorn." He smiles. I watch as he leaves the room. I'm glad to see a smile on his face again. I turn on our favorite, Finding Nemo. He comes back in minutes later with a bowl of popcorn and sits beside me on the bed. He puts the bowl in between us and I immediately take a handful and shove it into my mouth. I love this stuff.

"Yes! I love this one!" He says with a mouthful of popcorn.

"That's why I picked it." I smile. He smiles back at me and wraps his arm around my shoulders, pulling me closer to him.

My phone vibrates in my pocket. I pull it out and read the message.

From Li:

To Li:

Heyy

From Li:

What are you up to?

To Li:

Watching a movie with curlyy

From Li:

We should have a movie night soon ;)

To Li:

Definitely ;)

I smile to myself as I turn my phone off and put it on Harry's nightstand. I lay my back down on Harry's chest as he sleeps and doze off.

I wake up the next morning with Harry beside me. It was a really good sleep, it always is with Harry.

"Harry wake up, you have class soon." I say, poking his cheek. He mumbled incoherently and buries his face into my neck.

"Harry you gotta get up." I laugh.

"No!" He groans. I pull his curls making he yelp.

"Ow!" He says sitting up now.

"Well you wouldn't wake up."I shrug.

"You're gonna pay for that El." He says, smirking. Oh no, please don't tickle me. Not again.

"Harry I'm sor-" I say but he already lunges at me and starts tickling my sides.

"Har-ry, s-top!" I laugh.

"Payback!" He laughs evilly. He is now straddling me as he tickles my sides.

"Sto-p i-t!" I laugh with my eyes sealed shut. A voice from the doorway makes Harry stop.

"Uh am I interrupting something?" Niall asks awkwardly.

"No just a simple tickle fight, that's all Ni." Harry says. I give Niall the look of "please don't leave me".

"Uhm okay well, Louis made breakfast.." he says. Then he's gone. No!! He didn't save me! Harry looks at me again with that evil smile and I already know what he's gonna do. Not again Styles. Before he can attack me again I punch him in the balls. He falls over beside me, clutching his junk.

"Ahah victory!" I exclaim as I go to eat.

Today is Harry and I's annual movie night. It's at his house today so that's where I am. I knock on the door twice. Harry opens the door. 

"Hey!" He greets me.

"Hey." I smile. I follow him to the living room and see none other than Olivia sitting on the couch. Why the fuck is she here? I shoot a look to Harry and he gives me a "Sorry" smile. That little shit ain't sorry. I sit down on the opposite end of the couch, away from Harry and Olivia. Once we all decide on a movie Harry shuts the lights off.

We've been watching the movie for 20 minutes and they have made out the WHOLE time. I need to get away from this. 

"I'm gonna use the bathroom..." I say, getting up. Harry gives me a thumbs up, not even pulling away from Olivia. I don't actually need to go but I needed to escape. I wonder if Louis or Niall's home. I walk up to Louis' door and knock once. I hear shuffling around and then the door opens. 

"Ellie? What are you doing here, I thought you were having a movie night with the love birds." He chuckles.

"They've been making out the whole fucking time. I needed to get away." I say letting myself into his room. 

"Got it." He says.

"Yeah so do you mind if chill out in here for a bit?" I ask.

"Go for it." He laughs. 

"Thanks Lou." I say, sitting on his bed. At least I get to see Liam tomorrow in class. I think there's also another frat party too so I might go to that. 

"So Harry told me about you and Liam." Louis says.

"Yeah. He's pretty cool." I smile. "You know him?"

"Yeah I have a few classes with him." He shrugs. 

"Are you guys friends?" 

"Eh, sort of." He answers. 

I finally go back to Olivia and Harry who are no longer making out, thankfully.
