Third Person POV ✧
Daisy had passed out shortly after her conversation with Francis, exhausted both mentally and physically.
Francis stayed with her since he didn't want her to be hurt any further.
Although he would have to leave eventually, his sister would want him up there when they arrived.
Even though her heart was as hard as stone, she had some sort of feelings for her brother, her only remaining family, and his only remaining family was her.
So, as much as he despised it, he had no choice but to leave her and return to his sister.
Daisy slept through the entire day yesterday and awakened early this morning.
She could see the sun slowly rising, indicating that it was around six a.m.
She sat up from the cold floor and gazed out the window watching the sunrise in silence.
Her brown eyes turned caramel as they glistened in the sunlight, and she could feel hope that morning, knowing Angel would be coming to save her.
Though she prayed nobody would be harmed, she knew he was smart, smarter than anyone she'd ever met. So she hoped he had a plan.
Her thoughts then wandered to today's date, May 19th, the day her parents died.
Her sadness deepened when she realised her parents had died on this very day.
She wished she could be with Tyson, visiting their graves like they did every year. She and Tyson had a tradition of bringing Daisies to their graves, as both Tyson's father and Daisy's father had come up with Daisy's name.
Every year, the two cousins would bring Daisies to their graves, sit with them, and speak about all the wonderful things they'd achieved over the year, as well as memories from their childhood.
Daisy watched the sun rise into the sky with a saddened smile, knowing that tradition would be broken today.
As the minutes passed, they became into hours. Daisy had not received any visitors all day, which she appreciated, as she didn't want any more blows to the face or hair yanks.
She had seen the peaceful light go behind the approaching nearly black clouds.
It was late in the evening, and she was still waiting for her Angel.
Daisy listened to the mild sound of rain begin to fall upon the earth; the rain was soothing to her, even though it had only darkened the gloomy day.
Her stomach grumbled as she laid her head against the wall, but she ignored it.
Daisy was startled when the sound of the staircase door crashing open, jolting her out of the daze she was in.
She had hoped it was Francis who was passing by, but it wasn't.
