Hashirama awoke in his room, feeling much better than he did the day before. He leapt out of bed, stretching as soon his feet hit the floor. The morning sun poured through his windows and washed over him, making his whole body feel warm. It was quiet in his home, so he knew Tobirama was off on a mission. He sighed, enjoying having a moment to himself.

Hashirama took his time getting ready before stepping out into the village. The shops were bustling with people, all of them waving and smiling at Hashirama as he passed by. His heart soared thinking about how far the village had come already. Those thoughts led him to think of Madara. He had played a major part in this success in more ways than one.

"Hashirama!"

Hashirama stopped and spun around to find who called his name. His eyes fell on one of Tobirama's underlings, waving frantically for Hashirama's attention. Hashirama waved back and jogged over to him.

"Good afternoon! Is my brother with you?" Hashirama called out, approaching the young man.

The man shook his head before bowing to Hashirama.

"He is out of the village, but he did tell me to inform you that he won't be back until later this evening," he exclaimed, raising back up.

Hashirama forced a smile and nodded, "Thank you for letting me know."

The young took his cue to leave and sped off past Hashirama. He darted in between groups of people in the crowd, before he was eventually out of sight.

"Why did Tobirama have to send a messenger to tell me that?" he thought. He shook it off and continued walking.

As he rounded the corner, he could see a group of men chatting in front of one of the shops. He continued to walk, getting closer to the men. Upon closer inspection, he noticed the men all had Uchiha emblems on their back. Hashirama's eyes automatically scanned the men, searching for the possibility of Madara being amongst them.

There he was.

He was in the back of the group, focused on the conversation. Hashirama wanted to call out to him, but stopped himself. Madara seemed busy and he didn't want to interrupt. Hashirama bowed his head, hiding his face behind hair and sped past the men.

"I'm sure Madara didn't notice me." he thought to himself.

He continued walking, a good distance away from the men now. Part of him wished he had stopped to talk to Madara, even if for a brief moment. Lately, he longed to be with him more and more. He wanted any moment he could get with him.

A gust of wind brushed Hashirama's hair, making goosebumps appear on his skin. He felt a hand graze the small of his back.

"Hashirama? You thought you could sneak by without me noticing?" a deep voice spoke beside him.

Hashirama grinned, looking up to find Madara's eyes.

"You looked busy and I didn't want to disturb you." Hashirama pleaded.

Madara gave him a soft smile and gently shook his head. He looked around to see if anyone was nearby and then slipped his hand around Hashirama's.

"You know, I was actually wanting to come find you. I have something for you." Madara explained, pulling Hashirama to follow him. Hashirama stumbled behind him, confused by the sudden excitement in Madara.

It became apparent where they were going when they slipped outside of the village and started down a dirt path. Madara was taking him to his special place. His mind raced of all the possible things that could be waiting for him, feeling excited and nervous all at once. Madara's hand was still tightly wrapped around Hashirama's as they paced down the path. He appeared more relaxed being in the secluded forest. Sometimes when the wind pushed his hair out of his face, Hashirama would catch a glimpse of him smiling.

They entered the small clearing and Hashirama's eyes immediately began to scan around. Madara pulled him along to the tree they had sat under before. A blanket with a small basket was neatly placed under the tree. Leaning against the basket was a bottle of sake and two empty glasses.

Before Hashirama could utter a word, Madara pulled him down on the blanket next to him.

"I remembered what you said," Madara said shyly.

"What did I say?" Hashirama hummed. He remembered what he had said, he just wanted to hear Madara say it was a date himself.

Madara huffed and rolled his eyes.

"You're pushing it, Hashirama," he grumbled. A hue of pink washed over his cheeks.

Hashirama reached into the basket to find two lunchboxes. He placed one in front of Madara and one in front of himself. Madara opened the bottle of sake and poured them each a glass.

"Thank you," whispered Hashirama. He leaned over and placed a kiss on Madara's temple.

They both began to eat the food in front of them. Between bites and sips of sake, they chatted about the village and missions to come.

A few hours had passed and the bottle of sake was almost gone. They had placed their empty lunchboxes back in the basket and put it off to the side. The two men were quietly laid back against the tree with their shoulders touching.  Hashirama's eyes glanced around, bringing back memories of the first time they were here together.

"Do you remember the last time we were here?" Hashirama questioned, looking out to the stream.

"What about it?" Madara responded, a hint of embarrassment in his tone.

Hashirama grinned, a small laugh escaping him. He had forgotten Madara was embarrassed about it.

"Nothing," he started, pausing for a moment. He slid his hand from off the blanket and placed it on Madara's thigh. "I was just thinking about it."

Madara raised his brow at Hashirama.

"Thinking of what exactly?" he pressed, eyeing him now.

Hashirama squeezed his thigh roughly, hoping that would give him a clue. He peered up at him with lust in his eyes. Madara's breath began to get uneven, knowing what Hashirama meant.

"Tell me, Hashirama," he challenged. He moved his hand and grabbed Hashirama's, tightly squeezing it.

Hashirama smirked. He snatched his hand away to reposition himself to straddle Madara. He wrapped his hands around his neck, forcing Madara to look at him.

"I want you to finish what you started."
