Expedition to Site B

As I walk thought the rain I take notice that I probably look like a homeless person right now but I didn't care.

I was just trying to get to Hammonds house to see how he is doing and see if he has an expedition on or not.

He once told me that he was planning on sending 4 people or 5 to a island called Site B.

It too was a jurassic park but it was abandoned and dinosaurs were roaming around freely.

That sounded exciting and scary at the sametime.

But I wanted something dangerous to do in my life and this may be the one.

I didn't call for a cab only because I didn't really bring any money with with.

I forgot my purse at Ian's but their is no way in hell I'm going back there.

I knew I was on the right street as I was walking but I forget sometimes. But at least I know what the house looks like.

It did stop raining while I was walking  around for a while which was a relief because the rain somewhat makes me grouchy or tired.

I looked around and saw the house I was looking for.

"Bingo" I said with a smile.

I started to walk up to the door, I gave myself a deep breath in and out before I rang the door bell.

And with that the door opened and a butler answered the door.

"Yes?" He asked.

"I'm here to visit Hammond, I'm a friend of his" I said calmly.

He looked at me, up and down for a second.

"Name?" He asked.

"(Y,N),(L,N)" I said.

He nodded and opened the door wider.

"Right this way please " he says and I nod and carry my suitcase along in with me.

I always loved coming over to visit Hammond he was always so calm and had a peaceful atmosphere around him that always calmed me down.

I've known him for a while now and I already consider him family.

We started to walk up a long set of stairs that turned to the left and we continued down a long hallway.

The rain was still going down hard through the windows of this house.

We stopped at a door.

The butler knocked.

The door opened slowly.

"Come in" Hammond said softly.

I smiled as I peeked through the door opening.

Hammond notices me and smiles.

"(Y,N my dear it's so good to see you please come in" Hammond says as he sits up on his bed.

"Hello Hammond it's nice to see you again" I say and he motions me to take  a seat which I happily took.

"How are you doing dear?" He asks.

"Not too good, Malcolm cheated on me so I'm here seeing if you have any expeditions ready for me to go on I need to get away from here for a bit" I explained.

Hammond smiled and carefully got out of bed and he limped over to a desk that had a huge stack of papers.

He grabbed one of the packets and handed it to me.

"I'm sorry to hear about your relationship my dear, I have something here in this paperwork that will really be an expedition for you" Hammond explains as he hands me the paper.

I took it and opened the yellow folder.

I was shocked to read the 1st couple of lines.

Here it says and reads - Expedition to Site B aka abandoned Jurassic Park-.

A big smile came across my face.

"I'm guessing your interested in this adventure then miss (Y,N)?" He asks.

I was silent for a second and looked at Hammond.

"I sure am!" I say as I close the paperwork.

"Is anyone else coming on this expedition?" I ask.

Hammond nods.

"Yes my dear their are 4 more experts going on this expedition their is Nick Van Owen, Eddie Carr, Sarah Harding and I can't name the last one my dear" Hammond says.

"That's alright Hammond I'm so agreeing to be apart of this" I say happily.

"I'm so glad you do" he says.

I had thoughts going through my head  like crazy.

Like is this really going to happen? Am I going to die on this expedition?  So many questions ran through my head.

"You will be leaving in the morning for this expedition I except you to get all your gear together and be on your way my dear" Hammond explains.

"I will Hammond thank you for this " I say as I give him a gently hug.

He happily hugs back.

"I wish you the best of luck" Hammond says.

I walk put of Hammonds room with a big smile on my face.

Then I started to speed walk a bit but I didn't look where I was going and I bumped into someone.

I fell to the floor and when I looked up my smile faded away.
