O.T.R. - Stay:
'Stay. Tell  me how to say what's unsaid when silence trips us instead. One word could start us again, just one word could start us again'

"Have you seen Toby today?" Fiona asked Madeleine while she watched her take two cups of coffee from under the machine. "No, not at all. I've been looking all over the place, but he was nowhere to be found.." Her friend answered after she handed her the cup of coffee. Madeleine had started talking to one of the mechanics a few days ago after they accidentally ran into each other in the factory and she had developed the biggest crush on him ever since. It was currently Friday afternoon and the first work week had just finished. The first few days at Williams had been even better than Fiona ever hoped they would be. She had gotten accustomed to her workspace, met lots of lovely co-workers and enjoyed learning about the history of the Williams Formula One team.

Fiona had joined Madeleine in the cafeteria now for a cup of coffee before they would go home for the weekend. The two girls had become really good friends over the past week. They had spent every break together and even went out for dinner at a local restaurant one night, talking for hours about their experiences at work, their families and Fiona even discussed her relationship with Miles with her. "Are you nervous to be starting work by yourself on Monday?" Madeleine asked when she sat down across from her at a table in the empty cafeteria and Fiona chuckled. "A little. But I'm confident that I know how to handle everything now". Jessie had just left to go on maternity leave and she had officially replaced her as the receptionist.

"I just hope I get to stay after Jessie gets back in a few months time. It would be horrible to start looking for another job again, especially because I plan on moving here". Fionna added. She hadn't heard back from her favourite apartment yet, but she remained hopeful. "Yeah, hopefully, you can get a job on the hospitality team. It would be so much more fun with someone younger around. All the women I work with are like 50 years old. It feels like I"m working with my mom most of the time". Maddie said and the girls started laughing. Soon enough they were desperately trying to regain their breath, both continuing to laugh when they looked at each other again.

"Hello, ladies, sorry to interrupt your fun but is the coffee bar closed already or can I still get a cup of coffee?" They suddenly heard a voice behind them say and when Fiona turned around, she looked straight into George's blue eyes again. She had seen him a few times this week, but they hadn't spoken again besides the first time at the reception desk. She had also met Nicholas, but Fiona noticed he was a little more reserved, whereas George loved to chat with anyone and everyone around the factory. "No, it's alright. You want your usual?" Madeleine asked, still red from laughing so much, before she stood up and walked back over to the coffee bar. Fiona had expected George to walk with her but after he confirmed his order, he spoke up again, pointing at the seat next to her. "Do you mind if I sit here?" She quickly shook her head and took a sip from her cup to hide the deepened colour on her cheeks.

"Did you enjoy your first week?" George asked after he sat down. Fiona looked over at him and felt a smile grow on her face. "Yeah, I really like it here. Everyone is super friendly and I'm glad I picked up the work quite easily". Fiona answered and she noticed George didn't say anything, but his eyes were glued to her face. She even turned around to see if he was possibly staring at something else, but Madeleine was still busy making his coffee. "Uhh, that's good. You were just in time for Jessie to go on maternity leave. I think if she stayed here a few more days, she would have given birth behind the reception desk". Both of them laughed and Fiona couldn't help but notice how wonderful his smile was.

"Are you excited for the new season to start?" It was her turn to ask him a question now and as soon as she mentioned the new race season, his eyes lit up. "Yeah, I'm really looking forward to getting in the car again. It's second nature to me so whenever we have a lot of time off, it's like I'm missing something, you know?" Fiona obviously didn't exactly know what he meant, but she could understand he felt that way. "Hopefully this season we'll be a little more competitive. I love racing for Williams and what the team stands for and I want to see us at the top again". Fiona loved seeing how passionate he was for this team and after being here for a few days, she felt the same way. It's a pretty tight family team and everyone was working towards the same goal: getting Williams back to where they belong.
