Lauv - Feelings:
'But I, I wanna do whatever you wanna do. If you wanted to, girl, we could cross that line. Know we've been friends and love only knows broken ends. Yeah, that's what you said but girl, let me change your mind'

It was a little hard waking up the next morning. Madeleine was still asleep when Fiona made her way towards her bathroom and brushed her teeth. It was still early and she was glad they didn't waste the day away by just sleeping the entire time. She headed down the stairs and hugged her mom and dad who were sat at the dinner table having their breakfast. "Good morning dear, it's good to see you again". Her mom Eveline said and Fiona smiled before she sat down. Her phone buzzed in her hand and she quickly checked the notification while talking to her parents about the past week.

George 🏎️:
Thank you for sending me that picture, it brings back so many memories! Yeah, we should totally go out sometime, we could dance all night long. Maybe Madeleine and Toby could come as well, or some others from work? 😀 X

Fiona read the last sentence a few times over and almost slapped herself for even thinking that he could feel something more for her. He was clearly just trying to be friends. She replied asking him if he had any plans for tonight and that she would tell Maddie to ask Toby to come. George promised her that he would invite a few mechanics and they arranged to meet at his house before they would go out tonight. "Did you remember to invite Miles to Aunt Helen's wedding next weekend, Fi?" Her mom asked when Fiona put her phone back down. She swallowed hard and hesitated to tell her family what happened, but she did it anyway.

"Uhm, Miles and I.. We're not together anymore". She softly said and her dad put down his cup of coffee in shock. "Wait, when did this happen?" He asked her with his eyebrows raised. "Well, that was kind of the reason why we came here in the first place. I broke up with him last night. It wasn't going well for a few weeks already and we were just headed in different directions, I guess.." Fiona explained, seeing her mom let out a sigh that looked a lot like it was a relief to her. "Are you alright, dear?" She asked and Fiona nodded. "I'm fine. We ended things on good terms, so I'm happy about that".

"Are you going to Aunt Helen's wedding alone then? You can bring Madeleine if you want". Fiona thought about it for a while. She was probably just going to attend the wedding by herself. "I'll think about it". She said to her mom before she stood up and headed back upstairs. Madeleine was awake now and scrolling on her phone while still laying in bed. "Goodmorning, sleeping beauty". Fiona said and she jumped on the bed next to her friend. "George asked if we wanted to go out tonight. Him, you, me, maybe Toby and a few others from work?" Maddie's eyes lighted up at the sound of Toby's name and she immediately texted him to ask him to come.

The girls got dressed, gathered their stuff and said goodbye to Fiona's parents before they walked back over to the café where their car was still parked. The trip back to Oxford took a little longer today because of the traffic, but the girls didn't mind at all. They were singing along to music, planning their outfits for tonight and just overall having a good time. When they got back, Fiona gathered her pre-planned outfit and some makeup bits in a bag and got back in the car where Madeleine was still waiting. They drove over to her house to get ready and the entire afternoon was filled with pampering, face masks, lots of makeup and even a little runway show.

By the time the girls had finished getting ready, ate some dinner and got in the car on their way to George's house, Fiona's nerves kicked in. It had been a while since she hung out with him and she had forgotten what it was like. She didn't know how to be around him anymore, especially now that she was single and she had admitted to herself that she did have feelings for him. Madeleine drove them over to the address George had texted her and they parked outside a nice house with a big gate. Fiona pressed the buzzer and felt a tingling sensation run over her back when she heard his voice.
