William Black & Fairlane - Butterflies:
'I was afraid that I'd never feel like my heart went through the ceiling. You got me shaking and I don't know why. What a funny kind of feeling, trying to fight it, then we collided and I kind of like it, I never knew. Guess what I'm saying is there's no explaining. You brought back the butterflies'

"Are you coming tonight? We haven't really talked about it yet, so I wasn't sure if you were planning on going.." Madeleine asked when they were walking back towards Fiona's apartment. The shopping trip had been very successful and the girls' arms were aching from all the shopping bags they were carrying. "What do you mean? I thought we could just go out for some drinks. Do you have other plans?" Fiona asked, a little confused about what her friend meant. "Don't tell me Jessie forgot to tell you.. Oh my god, pregnancy brain is actually real". Madeleine laughed and Fiona was getting really curious now. "So tell me then!" She said while her friend was still laughing about it. "The season's opening party is tonight". Fiona's eyes went wide. Well, Jessie sure didn't tell her that!

"I have literally no clothes. I've only taken a few work clothes, some things to chill in and a couple of casual outfits. I have nothing". Fiona said, also realising they had just left town. "Well, we can go over to my house, you can borrow something from me. It will be fun, it always is". The girls arrived back at the apartment and started putting the groceries and the other stuff away. The plan was for Fiona to stay over at her friend's house as they were getting ready there and she did have proper furniture and not just a bunch of empty rooms. "I hope I have a chance to see Toby or even dance with him for a while". Madeleine said as they made their way to her car. "At least we are sure George is coming". Fiona heard her friend say and she didn't even have to look at her to know that she was wiggling her eyebrows.

"I have a boyfriend, remember?" She said, but she heard the hesitation in her own voice. "Yeah, a boyfriend you are going to dump soon!" Maddie said and Fiona couldn't help but laugh with her friend. "About that, did you mean what you said yesterday? That George has a crush on me?" It had been trailing around her mind all night last night, the words Madeleine said before they hung up the phone yesterday. "Yeah, it's pretty obvious. Do you think it actually takes me 15 minutes to make one coffee? I should get fired if that's the case". Maddie chuckled. "I saw that you were talking and by the look on his face, I knew he wouldn't want me to come back for a while so I stayed behind the bar, just cleaning and scrolling through my phone. I only came back because I saw you were leaving".

Fiona furrowed her brows. 'Why would George like me? I'm just a normal girl, I'm not even that pretty' She shook her head, it couldn't be. "I don't know, he was probably just being nice.." They pulled up at Madeleine's apartment and walked upstairs to get to her front door. Maddie opened it and Fiona looked around. She had seen a few photos of the place on Instagram and she liked what her friend had done with the interior. It was a little bigger than her own place and she was happy to start experiencing living on her own too from now on. The girls ordered some Indian takeaway for dinner while Madeleine showed Fiona her closet. They both picked an outfit and got dressed after they finished their food.

Fiona chose some high-waisted leather shorts with tights underneath and a dark blue off the shoulder top. She paired it with some knee-high boots and added silver jewellery to finish off the outfit. Madeleine chose a red bodycon dress with long sleeves that showed off her amazing figure and added black stiletto's to make her legs look even longer. The girls spent the next hour perfecting their makeup and hair before it was almost time to go. "Please tell me you'll talk to George if you see him tonight. Have a few drinks, dance and just have fun. No thinking of Mr I've-figured-out-your-future-for-you, okay?" Madeleine said when they were about to leave and Fiona just nodded. She didn't want to think about him tonight anyway.
