Seven Lions, Excision & Wooli - Another Me:
'This is the way that it goes, dear. Everything becomes so clear, you never wanted to stay here. You had one foot out the door and I might sound crazy but this is the way that you made me. I'm sorry that you couldn't change me'

"She broke up with him last night. Madeleine just told me on the way over here".

George didn't know how to respond to that. 'So the text message she had sent him last night, was after she had broken up with her boyfriend?' She had told him that she hoped to dance with him again sometime. And he had invited her to go out with all of their friends and co-workers?! He shook his head furiously and watched Toby walk back towards the VIP booth to hand Madeleine her drink. George couldn't move. 'Did she break up with her boyfriend for him? Or just because he was such a dick?' All these questions kept popping up inside his mind and George downed his drink quickly before ordering another one. He needed it to help him think straight.

After the bartender handed him his second beer, George finally walked back towards where the girls had been sitting. Fiona smiled at him when he entered the VIP booth and he noticed that she was by herself now. "Maddie and Toby went to go dancing, but I wanted to wait for you here in case you couldn't find us". George observed her face while she spoke and he didn't spot one hint of sadness. There was nothing but pure joy to be found. But he needed to know. "Fiona, can I ask you something?" He started, leaning in closer to be able to talk to her. She pulled away slightly, looked into his eyes and nodded. "Of course".

"Toby just told me that you broke up with your boyfriend last night and I just wanted to know if you were okay". Fiona froze on the spot. 'Toby told him what?!' She made a mental note to kill Maddie when she spotted her next before she let her head fall and started fiddling with the hem of her dress. George placed his hand on hers when she didn't answer him. "Are you okay?" He repeated his question. Fiona lifted her face again and smiled at his concern. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's better this way, we weren't suited for each other anyway". She eventually answered. "And don't pretend like you're sorry because I know you didn't understand why I was still with him in the first place". She giggled and George let out a chuckle himself.

"We just wanted different things and I listened to you and Maddie and chose my own happiness for once". Fiona continued. George nodded at her with a small smile on his face, but his mind was racing again. 'So she didn't break up with her boyfriend because she liked him. She probably doesn't even see him like that'. They stayed seated for a few more minutes in silence, both of them buried deep in thought and looking around the dancefloor, enjoying the music before George suddenly stood up and offered her his hand. "You said you wanted to dance, so come on". He yelled over the music and Fiona happily followed him to join their friends.

George didn't let go of her hand this time and it once again made Fiona feel safe when he pushed his way through the crowd in front of her. Maddie's eyes went wide when she spotted the two and it looked like she was having a lot of fun herself with Toby. "Remind me to kill you when we get home, will you?" Fiona told her friend but she just playfully stuck her tongue out and continued dancing. George had eventually let go of Fiona's hand and she missed the feeling of his touch already. The four of them started dancing, singing and jumping to the music and they were truly having the best time of their life.

After a few more songs and an equal amount of drinks, Fiona's mind was getting a little bit cloudy and George was looking more handsome by the minute. He was wearing a white button-up shirt and she could see a little peek of his toned chest when he moved to the rhythm. His smile was the most gorgeous one she had ever seen and those eyes.. They did something to her she had never felt before. Slowly Fiona moved closer to him, her eyes fixated on his face. He hadn't noticed her yet, probably because she was so small compared to him and but that changed when she planted her hands on his chest.
