The sun shone brightly in the clear sky, wispy clouds hung over them.Lucy smiled at her brother as he scarfed down a piece of toast. "Narnia's not going to run out of toast, Ed."
"I'm sure they'll pack some for the journey back." Peter said from his spot behind his siblings. He had been leaning against a rock with a chalice resting in his hand.
"We're going home?" Susan asked with a shocked expression.
"You are. I promised Mum I'd keep you three safe. But that doesn't mean I can't stay behind and help." He sighed sitting down beside his siblings, who all looked very against the idea.
"But they need all of us. All four of us." Lucy protested. She did not want to leave the magical place inside the wardrobe. After all, she did find it herself and believed she was meant to be in Narnia.
"Lucy, it's too dangerous. You almost drowned! Edmund was almost killed!" Peter argued with a good point. He could never forgive himself if his siblings were harmed or even killed. He would've failed as a brother in his eyes.
"Which is why we have to stay," Edmund spoke up. The three turned to him with a shocked expression. Lucy grabbed her brother's hand in a comforting manner.
"Well, I suppose that's it then." Susan stood up and dusted herself off. Heading towards her bow and quiver.
"Where are you going?" Peter questioned her.
Susan grabbed her bow, "To get some practice in."
"I suppose we all should." Peter said with a grin.
They all stood up and split off. Edmund and Peter went to find the training grounds in order to learn how to properly sword fight. Susan and Lucy went off to practice Susan's archery.
"Ed, where are you going?" Peter asked as they walked back to camp.
"We need to find someone to teach us how to sword fight, so I'm going to look for someone. Obviously." He retorted dryly and kept his pace.
Peter grinned and found a perfect loophole to tease his brother, "By any chance, would you mean Lady Zyanya?"
"No," Edmund said rather fast. "Don't they have training grounds? Somewhere..."
"Whatever you say, Ed." He ruffled his brothers as they walked to the training grounds.
The training grounds were merely a place where they spared and practiced aim. Many were there and it was a mix of Narnians and Lady Zyanya's people. Edmund and Peter looked over the crowd, hoping to find someone to teach them the basics.
