How could he explain something like this to her? Especially when he didn't even fully comprehend what came over him.
Arcturus scowled at Avery as she shrunk under his gaze.
They were going to turn against her and she knew it. All her friends were going to turn against her. She would be utterly alone, seeming like the evil mastermind behind the scheme.
She would never do that to Phoenix. All she ever wanted to do is be friends with her. And Susan. Avery had to admit she had some sort of infatuation with her and she always hoped for the best between them. She never hoped for anything like this to happen to them.
Picking up her dress, she fled. She needed to find her parents. They would help to prove her innocence. Her parents would believe her.
Arcturus turned, going to find his family.

Edmund practically sprinted down the long marble and gold corridors. His heart beating rapidly in his ear drum. His heart was set on finding his wife and making everything right.
He pleaded to Aslan that she would allow him to explain. His explanation may not be the best, but he was determined to win her back over.
He was hit by a setting sky as he caught sight of the vast and colorful garden. The flowers leaned and kissed the ground almost as if they knew of what happened. The petals wilted and fell to the frosted ground in disappointment.
Edmund shuddered, engrossed in the flowers knowledge. A chill passed by brushing his hair against his ear.
Following his gut, he entered the garden. The dead grass, crunching under his shoe clad feet. His heart thumped in his ears as his eyes scanned the death swept petals. He followed the indents in the glazed green earth.
Following the steps he was lead to a small staircase that led to the beach. He raced down the wooden stairs knowing exactly where she would be. The swing.
He had remembered the day it had been put up. Susan had been badgering him as he installed it. Edmund still recalled her voice becoming so shrill and annoying.
"Edmund, what are you doing?" He turned with an annoyed look. The tools that sat next to him, sinking into the deep white sand.
"Obviously working on something. It is very important, so could you please leave." Susan stay, glued to her spot with crossed arms.
