"𝕶𝖊𝖊𝖕 𝖞𝖔𝖚𝖗 𝖘𝖍𝖗𝖚𝖇𝖘 off of my property!" The badger yelled back at the raccoon. Edmund rubbed small circles into his temples. The two small creatures argued back and forth for twenty endless minutes. The matter could easily be solved in the two stopped the stubbornness and for once, Edmund understood his sibling's struggles. He was always the more stubborn of the four and now he regretted causing them such a headache.

"Perhaps if you abided by the terms-"

The badger cut off the kindly raccoon. "I want to hear no more of this nonsense. Either you get your shrubs off my property or I will remove them myself!"

Edmund bit the side of his cheek. "I do not find that will be necessary, sir." The two small animals turned their attention to their king. "I do believe that if we came to a compromise outside of court, you two could agree." The two small animals bowed their heads over their petty squabble.

The raccoon cautiously stepped forward. "I apologize for our childishness—"

"We are deeply sorry, you Majesty." The badger finished, eyes glued to the marble floor.

"No need to apologize, I find that my judgment is clouded when I disagree with my siblings." He cracked a smile at the two. "Now if I do find you two back in here, it will be up to me to decide. I do not want to have to decide." His last words were stern, caution plaguing his sentence.

They let out nods of confirmation. "Court dismissed." Luckily enough for Edmund, this matter had not been in front of a full-court. Just him and his advisor, who had disappeared at the sight of a dryad at the door of the courtroom.

At the thought of his advisor, Remus, he barreled into the room. The badger and raccoon scurried out of the sizeable domed courtroom. Concern festered into an outbreak in Edmund. His advisor galloped into the room with his eyebrows etched together. "Remus?"

"It is Queen Phoenix!"

Edmund would have been previously sitting, shot up. "What's happened?!" The chair was thrown behind him as he made his way towards the stairs. His feet slapped against the marble floor.

"She's gone into labor."

Phoenix had never before felt this type of pain. Even when she was fighting for her life on the battlefield. At a certain point, her body had become numb whilst she lay in pain, but this, this was way worse. The pain stretched from her legs into her pelvis and back. The pain crept up and attacked her with a harsh jab every so often.

Her arm held herself up as she leaned over, one hand resting on a nightstand. A fresh nightgown dressed Phoenix now. The soft fabric only stuck to her sweaty skin as if to constrict her.
