15| meeting the sisters

It was the next day the day I meet Dereks sisters I already know Nancy's not gonna like me but Derek said the rest were pretty nice so that was good to know

We arrived at Dereks parents house the house he grew up in, we walked to the front door, Derek was wearing a black suit and I was wearing a simple soft long black short sleeved dress and black heels with curled hair and Derek did his hair which oddly took longer than mine and the triplets were wearing simple black onesies and Derek styled their dirty blonde and dark brown hair because he said they needed to look like men, whatever that means

I was holding one carrier with Matthew in it and Derek was holding the other two carriers with Sullivan and Devereux in it and I had the diaper bag

I knocked on the door because Dereks hand were full and Carolyn answered the door she greeted us with her usually happy self and let us in she sat us down in the couch

"Derek you're sisters will be here in a few minutes and we both know how Nancy will be when she finds out you had three boys" she said to Derek

"Yes, I know ma, Nancy will be pissed and will hate me forever, I've been dealing with her for years I think I can make it through tonight" Derek said

"Well I know you will, but what about Meredith, you're going to have to make sure Nancy doesn't say to many things"

"I know I'll take care of it"

"Alright, well I think that Lizzie,Chris and her girls will be here first since they live to closest and don't worry Meredith lizzies the second nicest one so you don't to worry about her"

I just smiled and nodded, how bad can they be if I'm already getting warning about them their acting like a tornado is about come near us or more so... me

Me, Derek and Carolyn were talking until somebody walked walked threw the door it was a woman with dark brown hair and hazel eyes and a man with brown hair and brown eyes they walked into the living room with three little girls

"And you must be Meredith, I'm Lizzie and this is my husband Chris" she smiled and shook my hand

"Yes, it's nice to meet you both" I shook both their hands

They sat down on the couch across the room

"Who are these babies?" One of lizzie's daughters asked she looks about 5

"Lily, these are you're cousins" Derek told her

"Cousins?" She questioned

"Yes you're cousins, like how Alyssa's you're cousin these are you're cousins too" Derek explained I assumed Alyssa is one of  Dereks other nieces

"Oh!, but their boys?" She asked confused, I wonder if she's even seen and boy other than at school

"Yes, their boys" Derek said as he put his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him

"Yay, we've never had boys before!"

"No we haven't, have we?" Derek exclaimed to the little girl

No, aunt Nancy always says that she'll have a boy, she's says that every time she gets pregnant but she always has a girl"

"Yea, that happens a lot huh?"

"Yup" she said and started playing with the boys that were playing on the carpet floor

"How many kids does Nancy have exactly?" I whispered and leaned into Dereks arms

"Six" he whispered back
