Chapter 100
ELLAPOV
Great third session today. I'm comfy here I don't want to get up, but Lauren's picking me up I haven't seen her in a long time since before I got sick I'm not sure why but she hasn't been around like she used to. Not many people come and see us I kind of feel abandoned if it wasn't for Sean and Theresa we would. My mom has only seen me twice, I'm sure it's nothing maybe that it's cancer it's bringing back too many memories for mom, I miss them though.
I look over at my hubby his still asleep he's got a night shoot tonight it's a full day again but he doesn't need to be in until a little later. We can now have sex whenever we went off and got a special latex-free condom and they worked a treat last night. Weirdly, I must say having sex with one on, especially because I can't have kids, but it's for the best I'll talk to the nurse more today about it.
I quietly get out of bed so as not to wake Norman and head to the bathroom, it's weird seeing my wig in there, got all my instructions on what to do wash, spray, and glue. So I'm trying it for the first time on my own I do what they say and I must say it's not bad the bangs are where it's supposed to be and I love how my hair curls always did. With a final look at myself, I head out.
"Hey, have you seen my wife because I'm looking for her you kind of look like her?"
"Do I now? Should I leave so she doesn't see me?"
"No, you should come back to bed."
"No babe Sean and Theresa are leaving so I'm going to say goodbye to them and I'll take a rain check on sleeping with you until I'm feeling better I'll also ask about sex with the nurse and if we need to wear them or not."
"I'm cool either way babe. You want to sleep with your nurse you kinky bitch."
"Shut up. What time are Sean and Lauren due here?"
"Twelve."
"Okay cool, so they should be here when I get home poor things seeing me being sick. We have to do something for Sean and Theresa for helping me. Seems no one else cares about me."
"What do you mean no one cares?"
"Mom doesn't come to see me. Most of our friends don't yesterday was the first time Lauren had seen me since I was in the hospital. Kind of makes me feel unloved."
"Unloved? Babe, you aren't. Hell Sean and Theresa dropped everything and have been here for three weeks, mom as well and Sean and Lauren will be here for a couple of weeks. I think that means you are pretty loved."
"I know it I don't know why my mom hasn't seen me it hurts okay? Most of your friends don't come around yeah I'm sick but I can have company you know."
"Maybe babe people don't know how to act. It's pretty confronting, your head, your port, and how much weight you've lost some people can't deal with that."
"Do you deal with it? Because you're married you me?"
"No. Why do you always twist my words around? I think you're beautiful. Just some others have problems, some people don't like sick people."
"I just don't understand it that's all. If it was the opposite I'd be there for my friend as much as she needed me."
"Well, they're always asking how you are on set. Do you want me to tell them that you need company?"
"No that sounds like begging and I don't beg."
"What's your name Merle or something?"
"Huh?"
"That's what Merle says before he dies. I ain't going to beg."
"Oh, nice one babe you better stop that I mightn't make it out of this bedroom and Lauren'll be here in thirty minutes."
