Chapter 7
A couple of weeks later...
NRPOV
I was pleasantly surprised to see Ella relaxed around the gang, turns out she knew most as they were customers of hers. I took a step forward with her she lets me call her babe. I could tell it was a big thing for her. I'm not in any rush with her, she's something different but I want her to meet my son and cat and then I'll see how they'll take it. They're an excellent judge of characters, especially Eye he'll tell me straight away if she's nice or not, I should've paid attention to him with CC they didn't like each other but I choose to ignore it. I decided to surprise Ella and ask if she wanted to go out to dinner.

She was sweeping the floor and her back was turned she was wearing her normal or normal to me get up short shorts I must say her bottom's very nice. I don't think she realizes how beautiful she is. I want to tell her that I thought that.
"I'm sorry we're closed I should've turned the sign."
"It's okay babe it's just me."
"Oh hi, Norman. How was your day?"
"Long hot but it always is."
"So what do I owe the pleasure of your company?"
"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go to dinner with me there's a nice Italian restaurant not far from here. I can drive you or we can go in separate cars whatever's good for you."
"Can I go home and get changed? I swear I don't take a long to get changed."
"I'm okay with that. I can drive to your place and wait for you."
"You sure? You'd be okay waiting for me?"
"Babe I'm okay with whatever you want to do. Anyway, I've never seen your place yet. By the way when's your birthday I've never asked you."
"Ah, the twenty-second of July."
"Oh so it's soon and you're on the same date as Emily."
"When's yours Norman?"
"Sixth of January. I thought you would know that and googled me?"
"No I don't go online and always I'd rather learn things and stuff from your mouth not what a computer told me." I had to stifle a laugh.
"What's so funny Norman?"
"It's nothing."
"Oh, it's something."
"Okay, there's a line that gets used by one of the cast members a lot he says stuff and thing or more like thangs. That's all it reminded me of it."
"Okay, that's not so bad."
"So how old are you this year?"
"A lady isn't supposed to tell. I'm thirty-two this year. I know ancient dried up."
"I don't think so. I think you're beautiful."
"You're getting old Norman I'm not beautiful or pretty."
"Yes, you are. I want to kiss you so bad Ella. It's all I want to do. But there's no rush. I will when the time is right I hope you'll let me."
"I don't know if I've said to you but thank you. You're way too nice to me. I don't deserve you." She walks up to me and stands so close I can hear her breathing.
"Yes, you do. You deserve this and a whole lot more. You're a good person."
"Thank you, Norman. Well, I'm finished we can go now." I love hearing her talk her accent is all over the place. She grabs her things and turns off the light, we walk to the cars and climb in I follow her lead and head towards her home. We pull into a quite pretty little house. She walks up to the front door.
