ELLAPOV

I need him to leave or I need to leave him. I can't hide it anymore I'm getting bigger. I try to avoid Norman I ignore his calls I know he doesn't get it.

Ring ring ..... Ignore

Dammit not again that's like five times today alone

I can't talk to him, I can't do it but I have to. I don't have a choice anymore. I haven't seen him since we came back from the premiere. It was amazing I walked on a red carpet. I was very cool I later met up with Norman after he'd done his thing with the cast.

I finished for the day got in my car and as I got home Norman was there. Well doesn't that just make my day?

"Hi, Norman."

"Hi, that's all you've got to say to me."

"Yes, Norman."

"Why are you ignoring me."

"I have to. I told you I don't have a choice." I opened my door I walked on he followed me. "Did I welcome you in Norman no I didn't?"

"Please don't do this to me. Yeah, you do."

"Please just go."

"No, I'm not leaving until you tell me why?"

"I can't tell you why but you have to leave. Because you're going to hate me. I've lied to you I was greedy for time with you I can't hide it anymore."

"Are you saying you didn't love me?"

"Would it be easier if I said I didn't? So you'd leave."

"I don't want to leave I love you. I know you love me."

"Yeah, I do enough to let you go. I can't have you in my life anymore, I have no life Norman and I won't bring you down with the things that have happened to me. It's my fault my responsibility. It's my punishment for the things I have done."

"Babe you're not making sense."

"I can't tell you I'll ruin your life and I love you too much to do that to you."

"If you love me how can you push me away?"

"Because I have to, you'll be a laughing stock Norman if I'm right and I love you too much to do that to you. Please just leave and don't come back."

"You're a moody bitch. I'll leave you until you're done having your period."

"Oh that's funny I wish that was the problem I'd be so happy."

He heads towards the door.

"Norman?"

"Yeah."

"Just so you know these past few months have been the happiest I've ever had. Thank you for that."

"If you're happy why are you leaving? I could deal with the distance if you didn't want to leave here."

"I don't have a choice Norman that choice was taken from me when he raped me. Nothing's been the same since. But I'm not your problem. I'll deal with the consequences. I have been."

"Has something happened to you? What's wrong?"

"I'm not your concern anymore Norman. I'm sorry I can't do this."

"Well I'm sorry Ella I thought you were different, but you're just the same as every other woman. Only after what you can get from me."

"It was only your love I wanted and I got that. But then everything got ruined. You didn't do anything wrong, and neither did I, I'm just unlucky that's all."

"Hmmm, whatever." He walks out of my door and out of my life. What have I done?

NRPOV

I walked from her house no she's not worth my tears. I knew it was too good to be true. I knew I was wrong thinking she was the one. I thought she was different. I know I said I wasn't going to cry but I can't help myself once I got home the tears started flowing, it hurts I need her she's my other half. I need someone here.

Ring ring

"Hi, Norman."

"Hi, Lauren. Are you doing anything?"

"Nope, I'm free and easy."

"Can you come over to my house?"

"Sure you okay? Don't answer that I can hear you aren't. I'll be there shortly."

"Thanks."

LCPOV

Fuck girl what did you do?

He would've understood. I tried talking her around but she has it in her head that the baby's that bastard's baby, and that it's a punishment that she's supposed to have it. I know it's not his it's so Norman's baby the big man upstairs wouldn't be that cruel to a nice person. I got in my car and drove over to Norman's house and knocked on the door.

"Hey, Norman."

"Yah come on in." Damn, he's already hit the hard stuff I was hoping he hadn't yet.

"You okay babe?"

"Oh, I'm just great the woman I love just dumped me. How do you think I am? Is Jacob interested in an engagement ring? Fuck, I'll even give it to him. What a fucked up idea was I thinking when I brought that. I must have been crazy to think someone like her would want to marry someone like me."

"She does more than you know Norman."

"Then why did she break up with me?"

"I can't tell you why. You'd have to ask her why she did. But she's sick. She needs to tell you what's happening. It's not my place."

"So you know what's happening to her?"

"Yes."

"Tell me, babe?"

"I can't I promised her. Don't give up on her Norman please I'm begging you. Don't think she hates you she loves you so much."

"No she doesn't it was all fake she just wanted what she wanted off me like everyone else."

"Oh really? How much did you spend on her? It was only her birthday present and that necklace. Does that sound like someone that wants to use you?"

"No. I don't understand."

"She thinks you won't understand if she told you what's happening."

"What's happening? It has to do with the rape, doesn't it? Something happened didn't it."

"The problem is she thinks it's the reason for it. I've tried to make her see that she's wrong but she won't listen and she won't go see anyone. Her doctor tells her the same thing she needs to see someone but she won't go see anyone until she does she won't get better. I mean there's nothing that a doctor can do to the condition she's in but they can help her."

"I want to help her."

"She needs to help herself she needs to fix herself. Maybe we can find someone she can talk to. That can turn her around. Norman this isn't going to be easy and it isn't going to be quick. But I'll be here for both of you. Because you're family and she needs someone looking after her."

"That's all I want to do. I want her that's all I know I want."

"Norman you have to trust me. Do you trust me?"

"Why do I need to trust you?"

"You need to let her go. Then maybe she'll think you've left her and she might seek the help she needs."

"Okay, I'm listening."

"Okay and if she doesn't by May next year yes I said May if you two haven't fixed yourselves then you go look for someone else. But you won't find another like her she's your girl you need her to save herself. We can only do so much. She has to want to help herself."

"Fuck I need a drink."

"Me too."
