Chapter 80
Six weeks later...
Today's the day we get to take our babies home, James and Emma-Leigh are doing so well babe. They've gained nearly two pounds.
"So babe you excited about bringing our babies home?"
"Yeah, you think they'll like our place? Did we overdo it with the baby furniture?"
"No babe. How are you feeling anyway? How's the belly?"
"Not bad, not sore. You'll see it some time I'm glad I got it done though seeming I'm not having any more kids the timing was perfect."
"I would've been happy if you did nothing but I get you, babe, whenever you're ready there's no pressure from my end though I can't wait to see you again it's been too long babe, I get it."
"We'll see babe. No promises."
"Hey, I get it now let's get our kids and bring them home."
We got Stella and headed to our new car I had to upgrade again. So we now have three cars and a motorcycle. I'm officially a soccer mom now as we had to get something to fit four kids and Norman and me. Norman's been so good to me these past seven weeks especially after I decided to get my tummy tucked I thought now would be a good time as I wouldn't be lifting the twins as they were still in hospital and our nanny Misty has come down to help do the picking up and carrying of Stella I can't believe she's ten months old we're in the planning stages of her birthday party nothing too big just her family and friends and I think the biggest group of babies I know what with Theresa's babies that are still in hospital but aren't too far from leaving only a week or so away, and Sean's four, so there'll be about fifteen kids under five as Norman's brother and sister have young ones as well.
"Ella what are you thinking about you look like you're off with the fairies."
"Oh, I was just thinking about Stella's birthday someone's turning one and I was thinking about how many kids there are going to be here."
"Lots babe and you know I couldn't be happier. I always wanted a family just took me forever to find the right girl to have them with."
We walked in with our baby capsules and Stella in her stroller.
"So the big day is finally here James and Emma-Leigh are finally going home. You two excited?"
"Just a little couldn't sleep last night felt like Christmas."
"Well, they're all ready for you to take home. Take your time, there's no rush."
"Norman I'm so excited and a little scared."
"Babe there's nothing to be scared of also they can smell your fear did you know that?"
"I think you're thinking of dogs Norman did you just compare our kids to dogs? Hey, Alex and Bela love you two as well."
We picked up our kids and went to the changing area I took out their clothes and got this cute little Dixon in training shirt for James and a pair of baby jeans he looks just like his daddy, and I put Emma-Leigh in green as pink would clash with her auburn hair I've never been able to wear pink due to my hair sorry kitten for getting mommy's hair.
"Baby they're beautiful." Norman takes a photo of the two of them.
"I love you Norman you're such a good daddy you know that?" I kiss him it's a slow passionate kiss. We haven't been a couple since the babies were born seeming I gave birth and then had surgery I was in all kinds of hurt then now I feel good.
"Yeah I'm a good daddy and you're a good mummy. God, I love you."
"We better get these two and Stella home."
