Chapter 59
NRPOV
Man, I can't believe those bitches thinking my beautiful wife is plain you know what fuck them, I'm not going to let them wreck her time or mine. Thank goodness she can't speak French is all I can say.
"Babe, can we go back to the hotel?"
"Yeah, we can. You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. I don't think I like Prada babe, the other two stores had good service but they made me feel like I might as well not exist."
"Yeah, I know babe. Next time just walk out okay if you ever feel like that. Not that they care but they don't get your money. How does finding something really bad to eat sound?"
"Depends what you are referring to bad?"
"No, I wasn't thinking of bed. I was thinking more along the way of a shitload of pasties and things."
"You know you are way too sweet to me. Yeah, that would be nice babe chilling in our room being naughty maybe?"
"I do want to take you out to dinner babe tonight. I need to do it as it'll be very classy babe if I can get in. I need a tuxedo I want you to wear that pink dress."
"Oh, so it's classy. Nice. I think I can do you justice on your arm babe."
"Hey don't ever think like that babe I'm proud to have you by my side. You're the woman I love, you're the mother of my kids. Of course, I love you regardless of how you look."
"Some of your kids but I get you. Thanks, babe. I know you do."
"Hey just cause you're not Mingus's biological mother you love him as if he is yours and he loves you."
"I know babe."
We make one final stop at Yves Saint Laurent I walk in with Ella and the girls and guys were nice.
"Babe, are you going to come in with me?"
"Ah, I will if we can shop here for me?"
"No more shopping for you you're killing me for someone who claims to hate shopping you're doing a damn fine job of it."
"Oh okay yeah, I did spend a bit thanks anyway, babe."
"Hey, babe I was kidding of course if you want to do that while I try these on that's cool."
"I'm sorry still getting your sarcastic sense of humor babe."
"It's cool have fun and remember no budget."
"Okay."
I watch her leave the changing room she needs to realize that it's okay we are okay. I mean if the shopping got bad I'd tell her to slow down but this is pretty much a once-in-a-lifetime thing though I'd love to take her here for our tenth anniversary.
"Hello. Do you have blue suits? I'm not feeling this tuxedo."
"A black tuxedo would look good on you Mr. Reedus."
"Call me Norman. Yeah, black does look good. Okay, I'll change the shirt and tie."
I wonder what Ella is up to. I honestly didn't know. The sales clerk brought in more suits for me to try. I thanked him and started getting changed. There was a knock on the door I'm half undressed.
"Just a minute." As I pull the pants up.
"Babe it's me." That was a voice I wanted to hear. I open the door, and she looks amazing. I let her in.
"Hey beautiful what you doing?"
"Not much just missed you."
"Missed me huh?"
