I'm getting myself ready for my appointment. I want to look my best instead of the hopeless case I've been for the past few days. That's not me I'm stronger than that I know I am. I dress Stella in her prettiest dress I was thinking of taking her to set to visit daddy.

I'm as ready as I'm ever going to be I'm going to drop into the store and ask Theresa if she can keep an eye on Stella for an hour. I'm taking her on her offer of babysitting after I had her.

I'm getting used to this mommy business. Last night was nice Norman made dinner he's not as bad as people say I like it though I hate his mac and cheese I have to teach him how to make it proper I refuse to eat his as it's from a box. Ming offered to look after Stella for a couple of hours so Norman and I could have some alone time though we were in the house I couldn't help myself and checked on them Mingus said how are you going to trust me with Stella if you don't leave me alone. He was right so we left him alone until he came out saying that Stella was crying and thought she might be hungry as it wasn't a diaper as he'd changed that already.

"You changed her nappy?"

"Yeah, I wanted to know how so I did."

"Okay, Ming'll it looks like you did a good job. Come pass little Miss over."

He passes her over to me and I offer her my breast and she readily takes she's a good girl.

Back to the present...

I arrive at the store the doctor isn't far from here.

"Oh my god look at the baby." Said Cindy.

"She's so cute." Said Myriam.

"Hello, girls how's things?"

"Good."

"Is Theresa in the back?"

"Yep."

I walk out the back and see Theresa there. Bopping away like she always is.

"Hey girl now what are you doing here? Not watching us again?"

"No, I'm not, I need a favor if you can help me? You offered to babysit when Stella was born I need to know if can you look after her for an hour or so. I have a doctor's appointment?"

"Oh for sure. Stella, we'll have a good time, won't we? Huh?"

"Thanks, Theresa I appreciate it."

"Not a problem babe."

"She shouldn't need a feed as I fed her before we left but call me if you do and I'll come straight over."

"Yeah for sure girl. See you in about an hour."

"I got to go. Mommy loves you babe be back soon."

I walk out the door and cross the road to the doctor's.

"Hello, Dr. Jackson's surgery."

"Hi, Ella Mackenzie."

"Won't be long."

A little while later...

"Ella Mackenzie?

"Yep, that's me."

"Come in. Have a seat."

"Thanks."

"So how can help you, Ms. Mackenzie?"

"I had a baby two weeks ago and I having trouble."

"Having trouble how?"

"I'm sad all the time then all of a sudden I can be happy this manicness can't be healthy for my daughter to see."
