It was still dark when I woke up I found an empty bed. Was I dreaming last night? I mean I've had some vivid dreams at times but I feel completely fucked. Then I hear talking I have no idea what's being said as it's in another language. Maybe Japanese oh so it wasn't a dream. I get up and out of bed not like I'm going to go back to sleep Stella is kicking she's not sleepy if she stops moving I should be worried. I don't mind her kicking it means she's healthy.

I grabbed my robe and bunny slippers yeah Norman brought me bunny slippers because the floors were cold and I needed bunny slippers because everyone needs bunny slippers. I waddle I don't walk anymore I waddle everywhere I have no grace I'm all belly and boob and a bit of an ass.

I can hear Norman talk it's cool that he knows another language I didn't know he did. Though it makes sense one of his favorite places to be in is Japan. With that, he hangs up the phone.

"Hey babe what are you doing up?"

"Couldn't sleep. I could ask the same of you?"

"Oh I had a call to make for the trip and their afternoon's our morning, you know how it is."

"No, I have a passport without any stamps."

"I'll change that babe. You'll get sick of planes."

"Good. Oh, that sounded bad like I just want that off you. I meant I'm looking forward to seeing the world with you. You can show me the things you love I want you after Stella is born to take us where you love."

"I promise you, you and Stella'll see the world I promise that."

"Hey, I don't care where we go as long as you are there."

"Deal babe."

"But that being said I understand the nature of your work we might be separated. We won't what with Skype and mobiles and all that babe. It'll work."

"You know I love you."

"I know you do babe."

"I saw the pictures from your holiday, well a couple it looked nice."

"Yeah it was lovely, not long enough but then I wouldn't be with you so I'm happy about that. This trip is a quick trip babe then I'm taking you to my house in New York not to live but to see it, to see if it's what you want."

"Hey if it's got three rooms I'm happy babe."

"Yeah, it does more like five."

"Good so no need to move then. Though we will have to figure out the situation here. Where we live I mean I have three rooms here so we could live here but I like your house I like the quiet so I might sell this and put the money into the shop."

"You can do whatever you want we're in no rush."

"So I've been meaning to ask you Norman where do you want this baby born?"

"More like where do you?"

"I don't want it in New York. I don't know if I can live there I'll try my hardest the place holds memories but I want new memories with you."

"And you shall. You'll never have to think of your old life ever again. This is a new start a clean slate. You can do whatever you want to be whoever you want to be as long as you are with me I'm happy."

"I'm never leaving all you got to do is ask me and I'm yours babe I've known that for a very long time. You're my true love Norman. You're the reason I'm happy. I'm home when you're with me. These past few months I've been miserable, I've missed you like I've missed breathing."

"Babe I'll ask you to settle there kitten. You're like a cat on hot tin roof."

Yeah, that's right give yourself a high five. You're the man. She's so going to say yes. Yeah I know I could've just done it now but I want it to be something that she'll remember forever.

All I can say is I'm glad that she doesn't speak Japanese as my plan would've been blown out of the water. I've booked Nyafe Melange cafe for tomorrow afternoon just me, Ella, and a bunch of cats. Should be amazing.
