Man me a dad, wow. I never thought I'd be a dad I thought Mingus would be an only child, I bet he'll be happy.

"Hey, kiddo. What do you think of the name Stella I'm thinking of getting a new cat and calling her Stella?"

"It's a pretty name, not a cat's name though dad. I'd go princess or something like that if it was my choice."

"I don't know I think Ella might have a thing to say about that. Seems it's her choice after all."

"Hey I'm cool with that not sure how Eye will feel about a new brother or sister, but I'm cool dad. Now all you have to do is knock Ella up and that'd even be better because it's high time I had a brother or sister or I'll be too old to enjoy it."

"You'll be too old what about me I'm 46 I'm getting too old and knocking up is a horrible name for something very cool."

"No, you'll be what 61 if she fell pregnant this year when the baby's my age you're still young. Hell if Flanery can do it and his older than you, you're not going to let Flanery beat you are you?"

"Hey I'm all good either way dad I just know you want a baby girl so bad you can taste it. So hopefully this year might be a success and there might be a new sister sometimes then I can be her big brother and protect her from the sleazy guys."

"Yeah I do unfortunately I don't want my future sister to have to deal with that."

"Well, she'll have a dad, a brother, a mother, and lots of aunts and uncles to protect her. We can only do our best. Hell, I'll get Flanery to show her how to kick butt."

"Dad, I think you're getting a little ahead of yourself aren't you? Ella's not even pregnant yet and you're already planned how to look after her. By the way, does Ella have any say in this does she even want a baby did you ask her?

"Yeah I did and she does want one real soon too. She'll love our baby so much as she loves you and Eye."

"She's special isn't she?"

"Yep she's a one-of-a-kind type of girl and best of all she's all mine. Ming I'm going to marry her, I'm going to take her to Japan and ask her to marry me."

"You know you can do that here you don't have to do it in another country."

"Yeah I know but I want it to be special. I got it all figured out."

"Let me guess dad it's going to involve cats."

"How did you know?"

"I don't know I'm smart, also I know you almost as well as you know yourself. Just because I look like mom doesn't mean I'm nothing like you. So what you're going to take her to a cat cafe and tie the ring around a cat's collar?"

"Dammit, Mingus you're good. How did you guess that?"

"I don't know I just did. So you got the ring?"

"Yay it's at home I'll pick it up when I get home and take it with me and take her to Japan as soon as I can."

"So I might have a new mom by the end of the year, or I should say stepmom. But I'm sure mom'll understand when I say I have two moms. That's very cool."

"I'm glad you're happy and like Ella."

"Well little man I got to call a certain girl, and I want to do it privately."

Well before I call her I've got to call Flanery and tell him he's going to be an uncle.

"Well someone sounds cheerful today did they get lucky last night?"

"So when's she due? June or July?"

"No April."

"What the fuck she's six months and she didn't tell you. Are you sure it's yours? I mean if it was yours wouldn't she have told you sooner?"

"Sean I don't know if you know as I don't think I told you but Ella was raped back in July so she doesn't know if it is mine or the bastards. That's why she didn't tell me. Happy now asshole."

"Yeah I think so or she'll be when I can help her. Even if my daughter's his I'll still love my daughter. You know why Flanery because it's not my daughter's fault for the way she was conceived she didn't ask for that, but I'll love my daughter regardless of who her dad is as I'm the only dad she'll ever know. I love it now without even seeing her pregnant Flanery. I love Ella I'm going to marry her. I hope you support my choice."

"I don't know, Ella thinks it's a girl she's been calling her Stella."

"She's good. They should meet seeming our kids are going to be playmates and all.

I know Lauren said not to call Ella but I want her to know I'm so happy.
