I watched as Ella went down like a sack of potatoes. I caught her before she hit the ground.

"Greg call an ambulance."

"On it." I can only hear his side of the conversation.

"I have a friend that's pregnant and collapsed."

"No, she stood and fainted. No, she was caught before she hit the floor. Dude, is she breathing?"

"Yeah shallow but she's breathing. Come on baby wake up, I told you that you aren't allowed to do this anymore. I thought we had a deal. Huh, no more fainting this is the third time you've fainted on me, you got to stop doing this to me it's no good for my heart. Also, I can only catch you so many times."

"Norman they'll be here soon, they asked is she bleeding?" I didn't have to check her I just had to look at the chair there was blood there.

"Yeah tell them to hurry, that she's nearly seven months pregnant."

"You need to hurry she's bleeding and is seven months pregnant with twins. They're on their way. Dude, why'd this happen?"

"Probably stress related or could be too much sex I honestly don't know Greg."

"Too much sex? That's your first thought?"

"Will maybe I hurt them I'm not exactly small and neither was he okay. It was two days ago. Do I look like a fucking doctor Greg? Where the fuck is that ambulance? Glad no one's dying here."

"Oh hell, what's happening here?" Said Gale as she walked back into the room.

"Ambulance is on its way shouldn't be too far." I can hear it I love that sound. The paramedics rush in and immediately take her off me and onto the awaiting stretcher.

"What happened?"

"I don't know she stood up and said she didn't feel well and immediately started to fall."

"Okay, we'll take her to Lafayette memorial."

"Yeah, I know where that is."

"Come on man I'll drive you're in no state to drive."

I put Stella in her baby seat and climb in I want to start crying why does stuff like this keep happening? Are we jinxed I swear we've had nothing but bad luck for so long?

"Dude, are you listening to me?"

"No what did you say?"

"I said is there anyone you need to call? I can call them for you."

"My mom, maybe Ella's mom their numbers are in my phone."

"Hey, everything'll be fine."

"Will it! When the fuck did you become a doctor? No instead all this shit has probably stressed her out like crazy and killed my babies."

"Hey don't talk like that those babies are strong they'll be like their mom."

"I don't know Greg I'm scared okay I don't want to lose Ella I love her so much or those babies. I don't know what I'd do if I did."

"God you're a pessimist aren't you, you don't even know what's wrong but you're already thinking the worse. Okay, we're here. I'll take care of Stella you find Ella I'll call you to find where you are."

"Okay baby girl be good for uncle Greg."

"She'll be fine. To find your girl."

I went running into the emergency room, Hell I swear since we've been together I seem to spend too much time here.
