- Taylor -

It's been a few days since Lilah was reunited with her aunt and we've been taking things slowly to let her adjust to the idea of living with Ronnie, but Ms Murray called last night to tell us that Ronnie can't take any longer off of work so the woman is going to take the teen back to Memphis with her today.

Lilah is understandably nervous and while I know this is the best choice for her, I'm uneasy about it too.

"She's going to be fine, Tay, it's not like we're sending her off to a stranger - Ronnie is her aunt, they're family," Karlie has always been the calm, level-headed one while I tend to panic, but I think it's justified anxiety after everything Lilah has been through. "I know, but I just can't shake this feeling," I sigh as I look over to her from the mirror where I'm getting ready for the day.

Karlie understands my anxiety and she knows it's not going to just disappear, but hopefully once Li is settled in her new home it'll fade.

"Relax, baby," Karlie rubs my shoulders as she comes up behind me and I sigh, giving her a soft smile as I meet her eyes in the mirror. "Mommy doesn't know what that word means, does she, Auggie?" I look down to the little guy as he stares at us from his bouncer and Karlie laughs as she smirks, "mama knows how to help mommy relax," she attaches her lips to my neck and a sharp inhale surprises us both.

I'm so touch starved lately - Karlie and I barely get any time to ourselves and it's been over a month since we've had uninterrupted sex. We thought we'd get a chance the other night when the kids were with my parents and Li went to bed early, but Lilah had a nightmare and didn't wanna be alone so we didn't even get that far.

"You're killing me, Kloss," I gasp as she kisses the pulse point on my neck, the model wrapping her arms around my waist and holding me tight. "Your mom did say she'd be happy to have the kids if we wanted a night off, baby, and Grammy might be a good distraction for Ro with Lilah leaving," the idea is so tempting, but we've already spent one night away from the kids this week, "or if you can't take a whole night without them, we could get your mom to come over here and babysit for a few hours while I take you to dinner - I'm sure I don't need to remind you how creative we've been in finding privacy before."

I blush as I realise what she's insinuating, "that was one time, Karls..." Karlie raises her eyebrows as she smirks, "really, Tay? The restaurant, the awards show, your dressing room, the car..." I stop her before she goes on, "yeah, yeah, I get your point," I laugh as I move out of her arms and pick up August.

"Let's just get through this morning and see how things go, yeah?" Karlie nods in agreement as she brings me into a soft kiss. We don't know how Lilah's departure is going to hit Ro or how we'll feel about it once she's actually gone - we might just wanna spend the night with our babies instead.

Karlie goes off downstairs to start breakfast and I take Auggie with me as I go to Lilah's bedroom to retrieve her and Rosie for breakfast. Before the teen arrived, Ro would always sneak into our bed in the morning, but she's decided that she'd rather be beside Lilah instead over the last couple weeks.

"Hey, you two," I smile as I stand just inside the open door - Rosie rubbing her eyes as she looks up to me and Lilah looking like she's been crying. "Did you get much sleep?" I give Lilah a sad smile as I perch on the side of the bed beside her, "not really, I'm really anxious," I reach for her hand as I try to comfort her, knowing full well she's probably going to be like this all day. "You've been getting along so well with Ronnie and we're only a phone call away if you need us, Li, I promise it's going to be okay."

Lilah can't stay with us if there is family willing to take custody, but we can stay in contact and we made sure she knew that. If she needs us then we're just on the other end of the phone.
