"Do we really have to do this?" I pout as I stand with my arms wrapped around Karlie's neck. We get married in less than twenty four hours, and traditionally we're not supposed to see each other before the wedding. "This was your idea, Teff," Karlie laughs as she brushes my bangs out of my eyes.

We're getting married at a lodge in Upstate New York, so it's not like we're far apart, but the plan is to stay in separate rooms on separate floors on opposite sides of the building, so the next time I see her will be when we walk down the aisle.

"I don't like sleeping without you," I laugh at myself as I tear up even at the thought, and Karlie wraps me in her arms. "You'll have Selena and Abbie, and if you really need me then I'm right down the hall. We aren't exactly sticklers for tradition anyway," the model laughs as she pulls me into a soft kiss and I melt into her, it's only a few hours but it always feels like a century when she's not by my side. "You're gonna be alright?" She nods as I pull away from her, "I've got my sisters and Jourd, don't worry about me."

Our parents have the kids - Ro is with my parents, and Karlie's parents have Auggie - so we just have ourselves to worry about. But I'm so nervous to spend the first night in months without any of my loves beside me, because usually I'd have Auggie and sneak Rosie into our bed if Karlie wasn't there.

"And I will call you if I hear anything about Lilah," she's trying to reassure me because she knows how stressed I am, and typically I ask her at least hourly if she's heard anything.

Our information was passed onto the police who interviewed Ronnie and the boyfriend, but at the minute Lilah is still classed as a runaway since the police don't believe that anything more malicious has taken place. That is a small comfort at least, but we're still so worried about her being all alone out on the streets or wherever she is. Mike hasn't found any new leads, but he's still searching and working with the police, and according to our guys in Nashville she hasn't turned up there. I'm not going to relax until I know she's safe, but there is nothing more we can do at the moment.

"Okay," I sigh as I let her go, "I love you, Karlie Elizabeth Kloss, and I can't wait to be your wife." I'm holding only the tips of her fingers as I slowly back away, and Karlie smiles as she completely lets me go, "I love you too, Taylor Alison Swift."

She shakes her head at me and I take one last look at her smiling face before I go upstairs, towards my room where my best friends are waiting. Although, I just left my very best friend standing in a hallway.

"You better not be crying, Swift," I roll my eyes as I walk into the room, Selena and Abigail both looking to me to make sure there's no tears. "I'm not crying," I laugh as I flop down on the bed beside Selena, cuddling into my best friend as Abbie sits on the other side of me. "You'll see her in the morning, it's not that long," I sigh as I nod, but knowing she's just downstairs and I can't see her kills me.

"Alright, we've got a wedding to get you ready for," Abbie grabs my hand, not letting me mope for even a second as she pulls me into sitting position. "You have no kids tonight and you're getting married in the morning, so tonight we are celebrating," Abbie and I have been planning this since we were kids - being each other's maid of honour and watching the other marry the love of our life. "She's right, you've got to unwind and have some fun," Selena laughs as she agrees with Abbie - I don't have sisters, but with these two around it defintely feels like I do.

- Karlie -

"I know, but I'll just be a minute - Andrea said Ro won't settle and she can't get Taylor on the phone," Jourdan raises her eyebrow at me as she shakes her head, "you better not be sneaking off to see her, Kloss! We'll know if you do!" I roll my eyes as I hear her calling after me and I just laugh to myself as I close the room door, if I really wanted to go and see Taylor, I'm sure they'd have no idea. But unfortunately, I promised my fiance that we'd stick to tradition like she wanted.
